    Missing Person On Thursday, January 14, 2021 at approximately 2:09 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a 911 call reporting suspicious person/missing person from the within the city of Herman. Deputies responded and determined that it was a miss understanding and no one was missing.

    Burglar Alarm On Thursday, January 14, 2021 at approximately 5:02 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a burglar alarm at a business in Pelican Lake Township. Deputies responded and found several employees just leaving. Alarm was reset.

    Assault On Thursday, January 14, 2021 at approximately 8:41 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a report of a disturbance in an apartment building in Elbow Lake. As a result, an adult female was ar-rested for assault and transported to the Douglas County Jail.

    Motorists Assist On Friday, January 15, 2021 at 12:07 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a third party report of an occupied vehicle off road in Roseville township. A deputy responded to check on the occupants who were uninjured and had already started a tow. The deputy stayed on scene to provide emergency lights for the tow truck.

    Animal On Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:10 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a report of a dog bite that occurred in Erdahl township. The individual bitten was working for a home health business and did not need any medical treatment.

    Agency Assist On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 9:43 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce assisted the Minnesota State Patrol on the interstate by providing emergency lights for an accident scene.

    Agency Assist On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10:12 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a multi-vehicle accident on the Interstate.

    Accident On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at approximately 10:18 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a report of a motor vehicle off the roadway in Sandford Township. A deputy responded and spoke with driver of vehicle. Driver was pulled out by a family friend. Driver was also given a citation Driving After Suspension.

    Accident On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10:32 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce responded to a vehicle off the roadway and into a creek in Elk Lake township. There were no injuries reported. Deputies stayed on scene and provided emergency lights while the tow company removed the vehicle.

    Criminal Damage To Property On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at approximately 11:13 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a call from an individual residing in Elbow Lake reporting property damage. A deputy spoke with complainant.

    Sudden Death/Bodies Found On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at approximately 11:47 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a call from an individual located within the city of Elbow Lake reporting a death. Deputies responded and this matter under investigation.

    Animal On Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 7:14 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a report that an individual had hit a deer on Highway 55 in Lien Township. A deputy responded and removed the deer from the roadway.

    Suspicious On Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 12:45 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a phone call asking how to know if someone is breathing. The caller would not give information regarding who they are, or where they are. Attempts were made to fi nd the origin of the phone call; however, it was not discovered where the phone call came from.

    Animal On Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 4:32 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a 911 call in Elk Lake township from a female stating that her dog had been attacked by a larger dog and she was currently restraining the larger dog. Deputies responded and were able to take possession of the large dog while the female party left with her injured dog to seek an emergency veterinarian. This incident is under further investigation.

    Theft On Monday, January 18, 2021 at approximately 8:26 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a call from an individual living

    in Macsville Township reporting a theft. A deputy responded and spoke with complainant. This matter is under investigation.

    Mental Health On Monday, January 18, 2021 at approximately 10:28 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a request for a welfare check on an individual residing in Elbow Lake. The complainant advised that a 72-hour hold was placed on this individual and would like them transported to the nearest Hospital. Deputies responded and picked up individual and transported them to Prairie Ridge Hospital.

    Abandoned Vehicles On Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:58 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a call from a property owner in the City of Ashby that had questions regarding a vehicle left on the property by a former tenant. The deputy advised that it was a civil matter, but tried to offer advice and attempted to contact the vehicle owner.

    Fraud On Monday, January 18, 2021 at approximately 7:27 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a call from a resident of the City of Elbow Lake, who was reporting a possible identity theft scam. A deputy spoke with the party and offered advice.

    Accident On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at approximately 7:09 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received information of a vehicle off road in Pelican Lake Township. A deputy responded and spoke with driver of vehicle and was given accident report.

    Public Assist On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a report of a possible email scam occurring within the city of Elbow Lake. A deputy spoke with complainant.

    Criminal Damage To Property On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at approximately 5:58 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a report of damage to a vehicle in the City of Elbow Lake. A deputy responded and obtained information. The incident is being investigated.

    911 Hang Up On Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at approximately 6:49 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received an open line 911 call from a resident of the City of Elbow Lake. The call was from a deactivated cell phone. Deputies responded and eventually located the parties at a busi-ness in town. All was found to be ok and was a pocket dial.

    Theft On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 8:38 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received by mail, checks that were written on a closed or frozen account that an individual from Douglas County wrote to a business in the City of Ashby. A deputy sent the appropriate paperwork to the individual who wrote the checks to attempt re-payment to the busi-ness. This is an open investigation.

    Agency Assist On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at approximately 10:00 a.m., deputies with the Sheriff’s Offi ce assisted the State Patrol with a traffi c accident on Interstate 94 near the Ashby Exit.

    Agency Assist On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11:18 a.m., an individual from the City of Elbow Lake reported to the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce that there was possibly some deer carcasses dumped outside of town. A deputy responded to the area, located the carcasses and passed the information onto the Minnesota DNR.

    Motorists Assist On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:59 p.m., a deputy on patrol in Elk Lake Township stopped to check on a tractor-trailer with its hazard lights on. The driver of the tractor-trailer had pulled over to due paperwork. The deputy advised the driver that the area that was chosen was not a great area due to no shoulder and advised to pull forward to a safer location.

    Traffi c Complaint On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 4:08 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a driving complaint from a business in the City of Herman of a possibly intoxicated male party. A deputy responded to the area, but was unable to locate the individual. The information was passed onto the Steven’s County Sheriff’s Offi ce.

    Motorists Assist On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 6:09 p.m., a deputy noticed a stalled vehicle on Highway 27 in Macsville Township. The deputy made contact with the driver who was issued a citation for Driving After Revocation.

    Motorists Assist On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 7:04 p.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Offi ce received a call of a vehicle in the ditch in the city of Hoffman. A deputy responded and provided lights while they were towed out. There were no injuries and the vehicle was able to drive away.

Sealed proposals will be accepted in paper form until 3:00 pm central time on March 5, 2021 at District Offi ce, West Central Area Schools, 301 County Road 2, Barrett, MN 56311. District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. District re-serves the right to select the proposal which it determines to be in the best interest of the District.
