DIRECTIONS FOR USE

You will find this new, improved formulation clean and easy to use. Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn/garden, and sweep any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street, back onto your lawn/garden.1. WHAT IS THIS PACKAGE FOR?

This new, improved type lawn food is designed to reduce the amount of work involved in maintaining a beautiful lawn. It has been formulated to give you a green turf with minimum effort and expense. ferti•lome® Classic Lawn Food contains Polymer Coated Sulfur Coated Urea, a source of Nitrogen which is designed to feed for 6 to 8 weeks and Muriate of Potash which is classified as a natural source of Potash.

2. HOW DO YOU USE IT? Apply with fertilizer spreader set from chart below. Make regular applications during growing season and water in.

Apply 4 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft., make no more than 4 applications per year.

This product can be applied with a drop or broadcast (rotary) spreader. For best results, apply this product evenly and uniformly over the turfgrass (lawn) area avoiding streaking, skips or overlaps. Before each application, determine the correct amount (lbs.) of product to place in the spreader hopper for the area to be treated. For example, if the label states to apply 4 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft. and your area is 2000 sq. ft, then place 8 lbs. of product in the hopper and set the spreader setting at 4-1/4 (per table below) if using an Accugreen drop spreader. A more uniform application can be made by spreading one-half of the recommended amount of this product over the turfgrass area and then applying the remaining one-half of this product at a right angle to the previous application direction.

NOTE: The spreader settings listed below are approximate. The speed at which you walk and the working condition of the spreader will affect the rate of application.

These settings can be used only as a guide, they are not absolute. The speed at which the applicator walks, spreader condition and the texture of the turf will alter the rate of application. If product remains in spreader after application to recommended square foot coverage, spread remainder over same area going at right angles.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid getting on concrete walks or drives, swimming pools, stucco and asbestos siding. Iron stains these items and this product contains Iron. If this product comes in contact with these items sweep product off with broom. DO NOT TRY TO WASH PRODUCT FROM SIDEWALKS OR DRIVEWAYS.
