If you have a child who is 5 or turning 5 before June next year please contact our office for the necessary information. If you know of any families within our school ‘zone’ who are yet to enrol their child, please urge them to do so as this will help us plan and prepare for transition activities that will take place in Term 4. Information on this program will be sent to parents and communicated via the school newsletter and Facebook this term. Sporting Schools For five weeks of this term the students will be participating in the NRL sporting schools program ‘Backyard League’. The sessions will be run by NRL development officers and are designed to introduce Rugby League to students in a safe, non-competitive and fun environment. A reminder to make sure you have your children’s clothing, including hats, labelled with their name. It makes everyone’s life so much easier. LIBRARY NEWS

It’s my favourite Term of the year, yes Book Week is almost upon us! The theme this year is “Find Your Treasure”. The library is currently being transformed into a Pirate’s Lair with students having to ‘walk the plank’ to return and borrow books! There is also a massive treasure chest. The annual Book Week parade will be held in Week 5, Wednesday 22nd August. More details will follow however, get thinking about which character your little one will come as this year!
