• We will schedule for next year assuming that all students will successfully complete all courses they are taking this year.
What do I need to take next year??
Junior Schedule
1. Religion- Religion III2. English- English IIIR or AP English Language3. Social Studies- US History R or AP US History4. Math- Next class
Ex. Math II to Math III, Math IIA to Math IIIA, Math IIIA to Pre-calc
5. Science- Chemistry, one unit of science elective, AP Biology6. LOTE- Next Level or Elective7. Physical Education/ Elective*8. Elective- Art/Music?
AP Classes
• College Level Classes. More challenging. More time required.
• Can earn college credit based on your score on AP Exam.
Scheduling Process
• Group meetings in with Sophomores – Now• Elective offerings on Sharepoint. Look under Guidance page
on under Tasks. • Choose 10 Units of Credit of Credit (8 classes that you will
take and 2 alternate courses)• Go into Infinite Campus and choose your classes on-line.

• Individual meetings with your school counselor- Will in the beginning of March
• At your meeting with your counselor, we will finalize your course selections based upon your interests, your current academic performance, and appropriateness of course placement.
• At the end of the year, teachers will make final course recommendations based upon course performance.
Before your meeting with your counselor, please
• Go to Sharepoint and choose at least 8 units of credits to fill your junior schedule. Please also choose another 2 units of credit as alternates.
• Remember that the rigor of your junior year schedule is extremely important. This is the last full year colleges will see when you apply.

• Log onto Infinite Campus.• Go the link for Registration: BK 2008-09.• You will see some classes pre-populated,
because all Juniors must take these courses.
Adding Alternate Courses
• Choose COURSE SEARCH• Click GO- A full list of courses will appear that
you can choose. When you click on the course you want to add, a brief description on the class will appear. Click on “Request as Alternate”. This will add the course to your list of classes for 2008-09.
The Requirements
• Remember you need to take Religion, English, Social Studies, Math, and Science, and PE. Some of you will still need to take a 3rd unit of foreign language. Even if you are in your third unit of foreign language, you should give strong consideration to continuing with foreign language.
Other graduation requirements
• If you have not already completed your fine arts or health requirements, you should schedule them in 2008-09.
