In English, you use the simple present to speak about all the activities you do in a regular day in your life; activities like the ones you just saw.

Do you remember how to form the simple present tense?

You can form the simple past the same way you form the simple present the difference is that you have to write the verbs in simple past and an extra «s» is no needed.

The very famous verb «TO BE» once again is the exception for this rules.

The verb «TO BE» is not considered an action verb;

therefore, it doesn’t need to have an auxiliar verb to form its negative nor interrogative form in simple present and in simple past just as in several other tenses.

1: SUBJECT 2: VERB 3: COMPLEMENT
