With the start of the new financial year, The Claridges Group also enters into planning the new look for their
Group of Hotels. I am delighted to state that with your continued support the group has been able to record
2011-12 as one of the best financial years.The flagship property of the group, The Claridges, New Delhi will
undergo a makeover in 2 phases, between 2013/2014. The proposed refurbishment is a part of the phased
repositioning exercise of the hotel. The company has appointed G.A. Design International from London for
the renovation programme. The focus will be on lifestyle show cooking restaurants, luxury rooms and
suites, meeting and banquet including other public areas.
The Claridges, Surajkund partnered with Amber Lounge, official Grand Prix After Party organisers during the
Indian F1 2011. The Claridges Nabha Residence, Mussoorie, the charming heritage boutique hotel in the
hills, is scheduled to go for an extensive renovation and upgradation.
In addition to an encouraging financial performance, the Hotel Group was recipient of several prestigious
awards. Gill India Communications Pvt. Ltd awarded The Claridges, New Delhi as the ‘Best Heritage Hotel,
North India 2011' and Expedia® travellers ranked it among the world's best hotels in Expedia Insiders'
Select™ 2011 list. The Claridges Spa at The Claridges, Surajkund was honoured with SENSES "Best lifestyle
Spa" Award 2011 at the SENSES Wellness Awards 2011 held in Dubai. The Claridges, New Delhi and
The Claridges, Surajkund were also awarded the coveted and prestigious 5 Star Diamond Award 2011 from
the American Academy of Hospitality Science.
The Claridges Bharatpur Palace, Rajasthan proposed to open its Phase 1 in 2013/2014 aims at being one of

The Claridges, New Delhi played host to Her Royal Highness Princess
Caroline of Hanover, Hereditary Princess of Monaco on her visit to
India. Princess Caroline also attended the Gala Dinner and fashion
show held in co-ordination with ace designer Manish Malhotra and
Mr. Mohd. Azharuddin, at The Claridges, New Delhi. The fashion show
was in aid of the RACH Foundation headed by Princess Fay.
