The Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair and Pa-
rade is a vibrant celebration of San Diego's
many cultures. I was honored to take part
in it this year and engage with so many of
Linda Vista's volunteers, leaders, and com-
munity members. Photos: With Reggie Smith, Town
Council Members and students at the fair kick-off.
A fun time was had by all at
Clairemont Day at the Bay and
FastTimes 5k. Hosted by the
Clairemont Mesa Educational Foun-
dation and Clairemont Hills Kiwanis.
Thank you once again for a great day!

Photo Left: Thank you to the Council for joining me in proclaiming “National Parks Week” in the City of San Diego. The Cabrillo National Monument is San Diego’s only na-tional park. Thank you to the Park Rangers and many volunteers for all you do!
Photo Below: We proclaimed April 11th
as
the "United States Coast Guard Sector San
Diego 80th Anniversary Day" in the City of
San Diego! A very special thank you to Cap-
tain Joseph Buzzella, Commander Michael
Frawley and Seaman Carla Bowen for accept-
ing our Proclamation.
Great time talking #bikes with High Tech Elementary (HTe) 5th graders. Our next generation wants safe bike paths so I also showed them how to report potholes.
It was a pleasure meet-ing the residents of the Orchard Senior Living apartments. We dis-cussed ways the City of San Diego can serve them better and make their neighborhood more livable for sen-iors.
