CCBM2 project: Collateral Central Bank Management CCBM2 is the shared collateral management platform of the Eurosystem

that is developed and hosted by NBB (National Bank of Belgium) & DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank).

The aim is to replace the current European Collateral Management System (ECMS)

It consists of a multi-tier application that runs alternately in the 2 countries (for high availability purposes).

During the lifecycle of the application, a whole set of environments is required for development, user acceptance, production and testing purposes.

Objectives

Acquire knowledge about Sun Cluster and Sun Cluster Geographical Edition

Document the systems installation and configuration (Solaris, Sun Cluster, Sun Cluster Geographical Edition)

Assist the Base Infrastructure Team in the design, engineering and implementation of a Geographical-dispersed Solaris Cluster configuration, including all monitoring and management aspects. Participate in the design of a framework for the automation of the failover process in a Geographic-dispersed Solaris Cluster.
