Honey Bees belong to the family of insects.

• They live collectively in Bee Hive.

• Every beehive will have a Queen, few males and a number of worker-bees

• Bees live in a group in the Beehive

• Bees collectively are called Swarm of Bees

• Bees are known for collecting honey.

• The honey collection is done in a special way, The bees fly around the flowers in

search of Nectar.

Once a bee finds flowers with Nectar, it calls the other Bees through a Special kind of Dance.

The Nectar is then collected from the flowers.

Honey is made of nectar and the sweet deposits from plants and trees.

• The Worker Bees are a very important part of the Hive.

• They are the Bees which collect the Nectar from the flowers.

• Without the worker bees, the whole colony would go hungry.

Facts About Honey Bees:• The honeybee's wings stroke 11,400 times per

minute thus making their distinctive buzz.

•The queen bee is the busiest in the summer months, when the hive needs to be at its maximum strength.

•She will lay about 1,000 to 1,500 eggs per day

• Honeybee colonies have unique odors that members flash like identification cards at the hive's front door.

•A honeybee visits between 50 and 100 flowers during one collection flight from the hive.
