we’ve been bringing Memphians the Festival that makes them proud.

We spend months working out the details that bring your favorite band to town, that widen a child’s eyes with wonder during a school assembly, and that perfume downtown Memphis with our culinary

trademark. Our civic pride draws us back to the riverfront each May, and we invite the world to enjoy all that makes our home special. We are proud of what Memphis becomes in May; we stand taller, smile brighter, and put forth that Southern hospitality for which we are

known. In May, the world falls in love with Memphis.

Each year, Memphis in May International Festival presents the culture of a different member of the world community to

our community as part of our month-long celebration.

However, the countries we honor each year also see Memphis in a new light because of the work we do developing economic and

business ties and sharing our culture with them.

In 2017, civic-minded Memphians donated more than $60,000 to support our mission, and this year we ask that you

show your civic pride

and help us continue the work of sharing our culture with the rest of the world, while sharing the rest of the world with our community, one country at a time.
