The Outreach Peer Specialists work flexible hours (early mornings, late nights, and weekends) partnering with VBPD/2nd Precinct, HSD/Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH), and HNP to “triage” individuals moving them into services.
• Outreach Peer Specialists report to the PATH Supervisor daily on the progress and activities on the boardwalk
• Weekly cadence calls held to review data and coordinate services
• Increased coordination between the PATH Supervisor and the Second Precinct Crime Prevention Unit Supervisor has enhanced communication with the business community
