The City of Phoenix is seeking up to three (3) qualified Job Order Contractors to do business with the City of Phoenix on an “on-call” basis. This Job Order Contract (JOC) is for the maintenance and as-needed restoration, of established right-of-way landscaping.

The JOC Period of Performance is for 36-months with an option to renew for an additional 24-months.

Project Scope of Work (SOW)

At a minimum, the JOC Contractor will be expected to

successfully perform the following construction services,

including but not limited to: Repair and/or restoration of landscape irrigation systems including backflow prevention

system testing, repair/replacement.

Herbicide applications in compliance with the State of Arizona Office of Pest Management

primarily to inhibit and/or eradicate existing weed growth.

Planting, pruning and removal of landscape shrubs, ground cover plants, vines and trees.

Utilize Certified Arborist for tree pruning.

Equipment and operations utilized for maintenance work to be performed in strict

compliance with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Maricopa County Air

Quality regulations.

Repair and/or install various types of fencing and traffic control bollards.

Perform various methods of graffiti removal including but not limited to painting and sand

blasting.

Repair and/or replace concrete pedestrian pathways and miscellaneous concrete flat work.

Coordinate traffic control based on City of Phoenix requirements.

QUESTIONS?

The City of Phoenix strives to advance the economic growth

of local businesses through its Small Business Enterprise

(SBE) Program.

The City requires the participation of SBE firms

throughout all phases of contracts.

Subject to City of Phoenix Code, Chapter 18, Article Vl,

pertaining to the participation of Small Business

Enterprise (SBE) firms.

During the term of this JOC, the JOC Contractor is

expected to meet an annual SBE utilization goal of seven

(7) % which will be reviewed on a semi-annual basis.

SBE goals must be met or a waiver requested in order to

perform a job order under the JOC.

“Good Faith Efforts”

If Contractor is unable to meet the goal, a fully documented

waiver request must be submitted.

To be counted for credit towards SBE utilization, the certified

firm must perform a commercially useful function in their

certified scope of work.

SBE firms must be certified at the time of each job order

agreement.
