Spate of Murder Cases Shocks Hong Kong

hree grisly murder cases in as many days have sent chills through the city, which has one of

the lowest rates of homicide in the world (last year saw 27 murder investi-gations).

The high-profile stories have people scratching their heads and questioning "What has the world come to?"

The spate of cases started when the dismembered bodies of an elderly couple were found in a Tai Kok Tsui flat. A 29-year-old man and an accom-plice were charged on Friday with the murder of the couple, his parents, over a financial dispute.

Why The Holy Oil?

On several occasions in the Bible, in both Old and New Testament, we see God using the Holy Oil to represent or release His Power upon something or someone. The Olive Tree is said to be one of the most resistant trees in the world, which can survive all conditions. In fact, there are Olive Trees in Israel that are believed to be over 2000 years old!

What is it For?

Mainly, the Holy Oil was chosen by God as an instrument of faith to heal the sick and as a point of contact to overcome darkness with all its evil forces.

Notably, the Lord Jesus Himself instructed His disciples to anoint people with Oil and miracles followed.

“And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.” (Mark 6:13)

Jesus’ disciples anointed the sick and spiritu-ally burdened with the Holy Oil, and they were both healed and made free. The Oil is also a symbol of the Holy Spirit, Consecra-tion, Prosperity and of God’s providence, among other references in the Bible.

Where Does It Come From?

The Holy Oil comes from the Holy Land - Israel.

What Now?

Make a decision that you will attend one of the Strong Services (see weekly schedule on PG10) and bring with you the problems that are disturbing your house, family, finances, health, relationship, marriage, work and other areas of your life. During the service, Pastors will be praying against your problems and after the service there will be counseling available for people that need more than prayer – guidance and advise.

was scared I was going to die at an early age because I had severe difficulty with breathing

every time I had an asthma attack. I was taking mainte-nance medication and was required to have monthly check ups. I ventured far to consult a famous so-called “doctor” but no matter who I turned to or where I went there was no cure for my sickness.

When I decided to work abroad and needed to have a medical examination, I lied to the doctor and my employer saying I did not have asthma. I would hide in the restroom of my employer’s house for refuge to use my inhaler to relieve my breathing difficulty. As my children grew up, I noticed that my 3 daughters, granddaughter and daughter-in-law also suffered from asthma and thought it must have been hereditary. Every one of us was dependent on medication, we

were tired of our situation as it consumed our monthly earnings I came to know of the UCKG HelpCentre through an invitation of a friend. It was here where I finally understood that a genera-tional curse was attacking my family. I learned how to use my faith and persevere in making a Chain of Prayer, I fasted and challenged my faith. I also taught my family how to use Holy Oil and kept on praying for them to experience the power of the Name of Jesus. I never gave up rather I put on shame the curse. I continued trusting in God and being faithful returning my Tithes as He promised to give my family and I protection. The healing process was not overnight but today the genera-tional curse of asthma has been broken in my family. I am totally healed and have passed this blessing onto my family. We are

look good together, but something about this couple is very wrong. He is Rosangela Gozi’s husband and she is another man’s wife and her friend.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw them. As a woman you just know when something is not quite right. I went up to him and asked him straight, ‘What is going on with you and her?’ Nothing, he said with a butter wouldn’t melt look. Of course I didn’t buy it, so I gave him an ultimatum. I told him that either he told me the truth or I’d go and ask my so called friend’s husband.

Within minutes, he told me that he wanted a divorce. Just like that - 4 years of marriage down the drain - I felt so sad and hurt. After the divorce, I was afraid of committing myself to anyone. What was the guaran-tee that it would work or that I wouldn’t get hurt again? Over time, I realised that I didn’t love my ex-husband and a weird sense of freedom came over me. I travelled and tried new things, I became a new woman but I felt an aching loneliness deep within. It wasn’t the type that goes away when you are in a loving relationship - it was deeper than that. I had friends around me, family, I even got into short-term relationships, but the void was always there.

When I started attending the UCKG HelpCentre, I saw many people achieving great things through their faith. They took part in different faith boosting events and purposes, and amongst these was the use of the Holy Oil of Israel. Some people used the oil for their health or family and other areas; I used the oil to rid myself of the emptiness I felt inside. If the oil was like an SOS signal to God, then I wanted Him to spot me and come to my rescue. I anointed myself every day asking God to fill the empty space in me. I believe that with each drop that I placed on my head, I was getting closer to God. The messages I heard during the meetings at the UCKG tore through the many doubts I had and washed away the idea that I didn’t deserve to know God personally or that my past mistakes made me unworthy in some way. I remember one special day when I really let go of everything I had inside. And as I did this, an over-whelming peace came over me. It was the absolute assurance that I wasn’t alone. It might sound strange to some people but since then, I’ve faced many different situations and obstacles, but I’ve never given up. ost marriages suffer nowa-days, because of mainly two reasons, apart from infidel-

ity; financial and communication problems. I have been blessed with a good husband; who is self-employed and specializes in all-round carpentry, electrician and welding work. He has never depended on me financially. We are debt free and own a fully furnished house; besides that my husband lives an addiction free life. So money was clearly not an issue

However, after we got married I realized we had major communica-tion problems and knew this would become a stumbling block in our marriage. I would do all the talking (like most women do) and my husband would do all the listening. He would always agree with me, but I quickly noticed without truly mean-ing it. I would push him to do some-thing and he’d follow without com-plaining. I was making my husband a robot and this was not something I wanted; all I desired was for my husband to lead as the man of the house.

At UCKG I learned to use my head and change for the better. I joined the marriage course; I also anointed my husband’s picture with Holy Oil and started praying for him. Since then, my husband has improved his communication skills, has learned to take initiative and this has blessed our marriage greatly. served the “death saint” (Santa Muerte) for 10 years. I thought that it would protect me from evil, and

bring me money and a happy family. I was so devoted to this death saint, that I got 6 tattoos of its image all over me. There were plenty of times my family would have nothing to eat, but the statue I had of the death saint always had its offerings placed before it. Even though I would earn money, it would disappear before my eyes. We lived in poverty. I became addicted to cocaine and alcohol and I drank day and night for those 10 years. There were constant arguments in my family and division. My sons couldn’t get along, they’d fight and argue constantly. I hit rock bottom when I gave up on life, stopped caring for myself and beganto live like a bum on the streets.

My life was pure destruction. I knew I needed help, so I sought out a witch-doctor, but he told me that the nega-tive forces in me were too strong for him to help me. Thank God my wife didn’t give up on me, and she brought

heard them every single day. They never stopped talking, asking questions, giving opinions, shout-

ing, murmuring… I didn’t want to hear them. I didn’t want them there. But they never went away. Day in, day out they were there, whispering in my ear, speaking in my mind. The voices in my head became my living hell.

From as young as nineteen, I could hear random voices in my head that I couldn’t control. My family was deeply concerned when I told them. My mum contacted a mental health hospital where the psychiatrist confirmed that I was schizophrenic. I was put on heavy doses of medica-tion and later on a mental health

programme where I was required to attend regular appointments to see a psychiatrist at a mental health centre.

The voices continued, and the louder and more frequent they got, the more desperate I felt to shut them up. I started drinking and smoking heavily to drown those voices but they were too strong. I saw no future at all. I stopped study-ing and couldn’t work anymore either.

When the City News came through my letterbox, it was like a light at the end of a dark tunnel. I read about the services at the UCKG and decided to give it a go. I started attending the

deliverance meeting on Fridays and received the anointing with the Holy Oil on Tuesdays for my health. After each anointing I felt as though I received strength to keep fighting to get my mental health back. I left the meetings empowered as though a huge weight had been lifted from my mind. I continued going to the mental health centre regularly and believe that coupling this profes-sional treatment with spiritual support got me where I am today - free and totally in control of my own thoughts.

Today, I am doing very well for myself. Since getting the all clear, I was able to work - I work full-time - I was able to study and get my life back! There’s only one voice in my head, and it’s MINE!

years to heal did not however, come from dropping bombs or bullets; they came from the hurtful words that her father hurled at her mother day in, day out.

The Sober Dad vs The Drunken Dad

A drop of oil, as simple as it may seem, in my opinion could make a huge difference when faith is involved.

1986, Wu Tak Chi was still in school where he met his wife to be, now Aida Wu. After 3 years of dating with the consent of their parents they were married and the rest is history! If only it really were that simple…

3 years into the marriage they had their first daughter Jessica and then two years after their second daughter, Bianca, was conceived. 7 months into the second pregnancy his wife

began to suffer from constant fainting but thankfully Bianca was born healthy. All

the while he remained a heavy smoker; just one of his many vices at the time.

With their daughters only two years old and four months old respectively, Mr. Wu could no longer deceive his wife and so it all came out, he had been having an affair with another woman. With this revelation

their life together started on a downward spiral.

Depressed his wife was constantly in tears, she would hardly eat and

lost 9 pounds in just 2 months. Time and time again their daughters witnessed them fighting both physically and verbally. He always had a bag packed ready for him to leave their house. Keeping grudges in her heart his wife could not find it in her to forgive him, instead she decided to pay him back for what he did. She wanted revenge and got involved with another man. In short their situation was total hell.

Despite all this they never separated, but as you can imagine they were both extremely unhappy. They did not trust each other and so there was no more respect or love between them and consequently they grew to hate each other.

After so much suffering however Mr. Wu’s wife couldn’t take it any more and she knocked on many doors, seeking help in many places but nothing changed. That is until her mother invited her to the UCKG. She started attending more and more until through her example he too started attending. As they went together so the process of deliverance and transformation started.

Today his wife is now healed and Mr. Wu has abandoned all his addictions. They have found a way to forgive each other and trust has now taken the place of betrayal in their relationship. Happy and fulfilled in every way, with both their daughters they are now a united family in the presence of God.

It’s hard to believe he used to be like that when I look at him today. My dad is so loving towards my mother, my family and me… I absolutely love him! My husband and children simply love spending time with my parents and we couldn’t be happier. But getting to this point wasn’t easy.

I remember my mum making a Chain of Prayer praying for God to reach the part of him that up until then she was unable to reach. She also used the Holy Oil to anoint his clothes and anything that would come into contact with him. After some time, he really began to change. He stopped drinking; he was more caring and attentive. My mum changed too! When I started my own family, I too prayed and anointed my husband and children with the Holy Oil, asking God for the same unity and joy that my parents now have.

Make a Chain of Prayer. It Works!

Chain of Prayer is when you attend a prayer meeting for

acertain number of weeks without interruption in order to see a break-through in your life. Whether it is healing, a �nancial brea through or spiritual deliverance that you need, a Chain of Prayer helps you develop the faith and determina-

tion to overcome. Before starting a Chain you will need to decide what you want to �ght for, and then decide the day, or days, that you will make your chain.

Taong 2005, nasuri ako na may kanser sa suso na nasa unang yugto; natatandaan ko noon tinanong ko ang doktor "Gaano katagal na lng ang buhay ko?" Noong 2007, nakapunta ako sa Hong Kong sa tulong ng aking ina ngunit kinailangan kong peke-in ang aking pagsusuring medikal para makapasa sa trabaho.

Walang nakakaalam na ako ay may kanser.

Sa UCKG narinig ko ang mga patotoo ng mga taong gumaling sa kanilang karamda-man kaya napagpasyahan ko ring pumunta. At simula noon, unti-unting gumaan ang aking pakiramdam. Natulungan ako sa pamamagitan ng panalangin, pagpapayo at pagpapahid ng Banal na Langis.

Ang totoo nyan, malaking pera na ang aking nagastos para sa aking mga gamot at oral chemotherapy. Paulit-ulit lamang ang nangya-yari kada buwan. Makasahod man ako, wala rin akong naitatabi dahil halos nauubos lang din ito sa mamahaling mga gamot.

Makaraan ang walong buwan, lumago ang aking buhok at nahanaw ang mga itim na marka sa aking balat. Naging natural rin ang kulay ng kutis ko na dating namumutla. Alam kong isa itong milagro! Ang Pangi-noong Diyos ang nagpagaling sa akin.

Noong 2010, napatunayan ko ito nang kinailangan kong magpasuring medikal para sa aking bagong trabaho at ang resulta, "Kwalipikado".

2005年，我被診斷患有初期乳癌。記得當時我問過醫生，我還可以活多久？

2007年，我母親幫我申請來香港，為了尋找工作，我不得不偽造我的醫療報告。

沒人知道我患有癌症！

我聽人們說過在普世教會裹被成功醫治的事情，於是我開始參加聚會，身體和情緒並開始感覺好些。祈禱，輔導和塗抹聖油幫了我很多。

試想想，我以前花數以千計的金錢在藥物和口服化療上。我被困在一個惡性循環中，我每月收到的工資都花光於昂貴的藥物上。

8個月之後，我的頭髮開始生得很漂亮，我皮膚上的黑點已經消失，蒼白的膚色變得自然。我知道這是一個奇蹟。神已醫治了我。

2010年，當我再做就業醫療檢查時，難以想像的是，醫生發出的報告是: '適合上班'。

我高興得跳起來！

Tak seorangpun tahu kalau aku mengidap kanker!

Di UCKG aku banyak mendengar cerita tentang bagaimana orang lain telah sukses disembuhkan dan ketika aku mulai menghadiri pelayanan aku merasa kondisiku semakin membaik, dari segi fisik maupun emosional. Aku menerima bantuan doa, konseling, dan pengurapan dengan 'Minyak Kudus'.

Agar kalian mempunyai gambaran, telah kuhabiskan uang ribuan dollar untuk pengob-atan termasuk kemoterapi oral. Aku terjebak dalam lingkaran yang tak berujung pangkal, yang mana aku akan menerima gaji namun di penghujung hari dompetku kembali kosong karena mahalnya biaya pengobatan.

Setelah 8 bulan berlalu rambutku mulai tumbuh dengan indahnya, bercak hitam di kulit lenyap dan mukaku berubah dari pucat menjadi alami. Aku tahu itu adalah mukjizat. Tuhan telah menyembuhkanku.

Pada tahun 2010, ketika aku harus medikal untuk memenuhi persyaratan kerja baru, lapo-rannya begitu mengagukan, dokter mengelu-arkan pernyataan, “Sehat Untuk Bekerja”. Aku melompat-lompat kegirangan!

Ron was like this for a while, before there came a time when he’d had enough.

“I was undecided about who I wanted to be, and I was wasting time. I completely failed my exams and was having argu-ments with my family. I was pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I was fooling myself, but deep down I knew who I was.”

At the HelpCentre, an opportunity came for Ron to finally make the decision he needed to.

“I did what I had to do. I learnt how to implement the change that I needed. I

received help on how to discover the real me, I anointed myself with Holy Oil and as I did this I slowly began to notice the transformation of my character. It became less of a struggle and more of a natural thing. I know it sounds unbeliev-ably cheesy, but I’m so happy to have gotten to a place where I can say that I’m confident with who I am. It’s good to say that I’m comfortable in my own skin. I may not be a millionaire (yet) or have been healed from an incurable disease, but personally I’m just happy that I can say I’ve found myself - the real me - and that’s amazing.
