Erosion and Sedimentation• Concho River is main receiving stream for majority of
City’s stormwater runoff• Stormwater runoff increases river flows which causes
undercutting of banks, sloughing and erosion• Bank erosion contributes significantly to Total
Suspended Solids (TSS) in water (cloudy or “turbid” appearance)
• Decreased water quality, degradation of aquatic habitat and increased flooding
Proposed Change Order
• Total Change Order Request: $687,460.06• Total additional construction time: 105 days
• Funding Sources• $100,000 – Half cent sales tax bond issue dollars for
design work for the renovation of the 29th Street Complex
• $587,460.06 – City of San Angelo stormwater quality improvements project dollars
