Surat Municipal Corporation has taken many initiatives in last 3years to improve “Quality of Life” for the citizens of Surat.
Total Capital expenditure of Rs.4585 Crore is made in last 3years to improve livability and sustainability of Surat cityretaining its rich culture & heritage with unique identity.
City Profile has changed a lot in past 3 years in terms of; Transportation condition in the city Water availability and reduction in Non -Revenue Water Solid waste management programs in the city Safety/ security conditions in the city Energy availability and reduction of outages in the city Housing situation in the city, specifically role of municipality in
expediting building plan approvals, property tax collection etc. Overall attendance of functionaries Two-way communication between citizens and administration Use of e-Gov to enable hassle free access to statutory documents Dashboards that integrate analytics and visualization of data
