CITI Human Subjects Training Registration Guide
1. You can access the CITI site here: https://www.citiprogram.org/ 2. Click the registration button to begin setting up your account
3. Find UW in the search bar, mark it as your organization affiliation, click the “agree to terms of
service” box, and continue to step 2
4. Enter your Name and work email. Then continue on to Step 3.
5. Enter your desired username, password, and security question. Then continue on to Step 4. 6. Choose your country of residence. You can just type in “USA”, and it will auto-find. Continue to
step 5.
7. Select whether you would like to received Continuing Education (CE) credits or not for this course. Note: there are fees associated with choosing yes.
8. Choose whether you would like spam from CITI or not, and move on to step 6.
9. Enter in an institutional email address depending on which state you work in: Washington: [email protected] Arkansas: [email protected] Michigan: [email protected] For Department please enter: Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Choose your research role and your office phone and move on to step 7.
10. Select the reason you are registering the account, and what areas of research you are involved
in as indicated below.
11. Click Finalize Registration
12. Now choose the Human Subjects Learners course, and follow the instructions to complete your
training.
