Booth Overview

Graphics to be finalised

Working StationsThis year we will have two types of Working Stations

– Fixed Working Stations• Incorporating large touch screen kiosks which will be pre loaded

with multiple product presentations

– Mobile Working Stations• Small portable touch screen PCs, again pre loaded with multiple

product presentations, which will allow product discussions anywhere on the booth.

– Both types of working stations will be loaded with the same presentations

– These presentations will be sent out to all BSC attendees in early September to allow you to familiarise yourselves with the content and the user interface

Booth Duty Rules and Expectations• Please see the separate file for all Booth Duty Allocations, this file will

also be available at the pre meeting and will be displayed on the Booth• Please arrive early for each shift.• Please do not leave the booth until your replacement has arrived.• Please ensure that the booth is clean and tidy at all times.• The booth is intended to meet physicians not for BSC Staff Meetings.

– We have a separate Meeting room for this purpose (Room 1.12)• Please ensure that all visitors to the booth are greeted in a professional

and timely manner, even if they are not your customers.• The booth is to remain product and brochure free at all times.• Product demonstrations and detailed discussions are to take place in

the demonstration room.• If you are unable to do your shift on the booth please arrange for cover

and inform the Booth Captain with your replacements name.• Please try to minimise the number of bags left on the booth, storage

space is tight and there is a bag storage facility in the congress centre• Don’t leave the booth unattended, organise any breaks with the booth

captain.

Roles and Responsibilities• Working Station duties

• To greet customers on the booth, to gauge their interest, to initiate product discussion and to take leads

• To ensure the tidiness of the general booth area

• Demonstration Room duties• To greet customers entering the demonstration, to gauge their interest, to initiate product

discussion and demonstrations and to take leads• To ensure the tidiness of the Demonstration room and availability of products

The above duties are meant to be interchangeable, if someone is discussing a product on the working stations and this leads to a product demonstration then whoever is covering the demonstration room is expected to then cover the working station (and vice versa).

The idea is to maintain a continuum of service avoiding the need to hand off the customer between ourselves for consistency and flow

• Learning Centre / VR Suite duties• To welcome customers to the learning centre, to lead and assist physicians on the VR

simulators, to link this activity back to products and to take leads

• Booth Captain• To manage the running of the booth activities for that shift, to insure that the booth is fully

staffed and equipped, to help out on the booth during busy times

• Supervisors• To provide technical support and be present to assist in the case of emergency, supervisors

are not expected to be on the booth / learning centre all day but to remain contactable and on site. They are expected to be available to assist on the booth during shift changes and busy times
