    Happy New Year and wishing you a prosperous year ahead!

    We are pleased to announce our first initiative of the year - to accept standing ePay instruction from customers with

    immediate effect. This is in line with our continuous efforts to better serve our valued customers and improve our

    business processes.

    Standing ePay instruction facility enables the company to keep the bank account details of the customer, such that any

    future payouts (e.g. excess premium refund, regular/guaranteed cash payment, partial withdrawal, policy loan,

    surrender, maturity or claims) from the company shall be made through GIRO (ePay) to customer’s nominated bank

    account. It’s a hassle-free payment method and we can all say bye to lost-cheque worries!

    Please take note of the “Important Notices” below for standing ePay instruction:

    (1)  This instruction affects all the policies of the customer (i.e only ONE bank account is allowed per customer)

    (2)   A copy of the bank statement/first page of the bank account book with account details is encouraged to be

    provided as supporting document to ensure accuracy

    (3)  It is only applicable to banks that participate in the Interbank Giro Payment System (IBG)

    (4)  The following bank accounts are not allowed:

    I. Overseas bank account;

    II. Corporate bank account (for keyman policy, mortgage reducing term assurance policy);

    III. Any local bank account that is not in the name of the Policy Owner/Assignee;

    IV. Any joint bank account unless the Policy Owner/Assignee is the primary joint account holder.

    (5) 

    The customer may at any time submit a new standing ePay instruction to supersede the old standing ePayinstruction

    (6)  This instruction may not be suitable for foreigners as the passport number will subject to change upon renewal

    We wish to assure you that banks will continue to perform mandatory validations on bank account number and NRIC for

    all electronic payment transactions. Therefore, please be reminded that it is important for our customers to update

    their new NRIC in their bank account to avoid any failure in payment transfer.

     An email notification will be provided by Citibank (our merchant bank for ePay) to the payee if there is a valid email

    address in our record. In addition, we will also notify both the servicing agent and the payee via SMS if the ePay is

    approved/ rejected. Kindly be advised that the payment is expected to be credited into the customer’s bank account

    within 3 – 5 working days and the actual turnaround time is dependent on the customer’s bank.

    Please allow us to take this opportunity to share with you the common reasons for rejected ePay transactions. They are:

    1)  NRIC/Passport Number maintained in bank account and our records are not the same

    2)  Bank account number provided is invalid (e.g debit card number provided instead of account number)

    3)   Account Closed

    4)  Non transaction account

    We attach a sample of the E-payment Authorization Form for your reference. The E-form has made available in the

     Agent Portal. Let’s work hand in hand to reduce the usage of cheques as directed by Bank Negara Malaysia and promote

    GIRO payment. Don’t wait and please submit the completed ePay instruction to our nearest branch office for hassle-

    free payouts, especially those customers who have opted for Guaranteed Cash Payments to be withdrawn annually.

    1. This form is to facilitate your request for certain payments issued by us to be credited to your bank account directly (“Direct Credit”) as the Policy Owner/Assignee of

    the Policies with Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (“ALIM”). TAKE NOTE: This request affects all your Policies with ALIM.   / Opsyen ini adalah untuk memudahkan

     pembayaran secara terus ke akaun bank anda (“Kredit Terus”) sebagai Pemunya Polisi bagi Polisi-polisi Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (“ALIM”).  AMBIL PERHATIAN:

    2. Please submit a copy of NRIC/Passport together with this Direct Credit form. Bank statement/first page of your bank account passbook with account details is encouraged

    3. The payment into the Account shall be a valid discharge of ALIM’s liability under the Policies. /Pembayaran ke dalam Akaun itu adalah pelepasan liabiliti ALIM yang sah di

    bawah Polisi.

    4. ALIM shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, claims, costs and/or expenses which I may incur if the payment transaction is delayed or is not effected at all or the

    payment is credited into an incorrect bank account due to incomplete or incorrect information provided by me in this form. / ALIM tidak akan bertanggungjawab ke atas

    sebarang kerosakan, kerugian, tuntutan, kos dan / atau perbelanjaan yang saya tanggung jika urus niaga pembayaran tertangguh atau tidak dilaksanakan sama sekali atau

     pembayaran dikreditkan ke dalam akaun bank yang tidak betul kerana maklumat yang tidak lengkap atau tidak betul yang diberikan oleh saya dalam borang ini.

    5. I shall immediately refund to ALIM in full any monies paid into the Account which I am not entitled to receive. / Saya akan dengan segera membayar balik kepada ALIM

    sepenuhnya apa-apa wang yang dibayar ke dalam Akaun yang saya tidak berhak terima.

    6. I hereby indemnify ALIM for any damages, losses, claims, costs and/or expenses incurred by ALIM arising from or in connection with payments made to the Account in

    accordance with my instructions herein. / Saya dengan ini menanggung rugi ALIM bagi apa-apa kerosakan, kerugian, tuntutan, kos dan / atau perbelanjaan yang ditanggungoleh ALIM yang timbul daripada atau berkaitan dengan pembayaran yang dibuat kepada Akaun mengikut arahan saya di sini.

    7. Notwithstanding the above, ALIM reserves the right to release payment to you by cheque. / Walau apa pun yang diatas, ALIM berhak untuk membuat bayaran kepada anda
