The exceptional work by GRAHAM-BAM Healthcare Partnership for the £85m Ulster Hospital Phase B2 Inpatient
Ward Block was awarded the overall winner at the CEF/Specify Construction Excellence Awards 2017 event.
The judging panel was particularly impressed by the very clear evidence of excellent collaborative working
between client, user-groups, design team, principal contractor and subcontractors, ensuring that design quality,
building quality, and continuous consideration of buildability led to a high standard of client satisfaction, and indeed
to an extremely important new healthcare building that sets the tone and quality threshold for future phases at the
Ulster Hospital.
