Some of Cinema’s early feature films include Die Hard, Terminator and Lethal Weapon to recent projects like The Hangover, G I Joe, Knight Rider and My Name is Earl.

Cinema Vehicle Services specializes in custom build to order vehicles. One of the most recognizable we believe, is “Eleanor” from the 2000 remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. The 1967 Mustang depicted in the movie became and still is an iconic movie car. Cinema Vehicle Services is offering a select group of both its “On Camera” used vehicles as well as its “Private Collection”. They have never offered this broad of a selection before. One of the rarest of all Thunderbirds, this 1963 M-Code is one of 37 produced, one of just 22 known to exist today. Owned by a single California family since new, it has always been garaged in storage and trailered for transport. It was restored from the ground up to Concours condition in 1966 using original and NOS components throughout and comes with complete maintenance records since new and all restoration receipts. This Silver ‘Bird is a multiple award winner with V.T.C.I. Best of Show and A.A.C.A. National Senior and Grand National prizes to its credit; it has also won the prestigious Larry J. Seyfarth Award. Pictured in many publications featured in Motor Trend magazine, its incredible original documentation includes the window sticker, factory invoice, purchase order and sales contract. Simply put, it is probably the finest 1963 M-code Thunderbird in the world.

of the most powerful non-fuel-injected smallblock in the Chevrolet lineup, the L79 327/350 HP V-8. The exclusive dual-snorkel chrome air cleaner tops off an aluminum intake fitted with a Holley 4-barrel and is flanked by chromed Turbo-fire valve covers. A special solid-lifter cam, high-flow heads and 11:1 compression complete this free-revving smallblock engine.

All that power is accompanied by surprising elegance. The Black finish is absolutely mirror-like and beautifully adorned by tasteful chrome and brightwork that extends to the brilliant wire wheel covers. The Black interior is likewise handsome and well accented. Beyond the car’s power and appearance, there is in addition the fact that its original equipment includes factory-installed Delco air conditioning and tinted glass to add comfort to the driving experience.

By the time this car was awarded to Marti Wihksne of Kamloops, British Columbia in 1995, it was already considered one of the best L79 Novas in existence, having earned numerous awards. It had been so skillfully restored by NNN club member Pete Perry of Texas that in 1988 it won three prizes at the Denver Nova Nationals West, including Best Restored. In 1989, it returned from the Louisville Nationals with five titles, and in 1991 repeated with another three honors at the New York event. Texan Steve Mauer, who purchased the Nova from Perry, performed a meticulous renewal, detailing the underside, installing fresh stainless steel exhaust and recreating every tag and inspection mark called for by his extensive research. So thorough was the work that in 1993 the little Chevy was the subject of a magazine article titled “Tagging the Chevy II According to the Broadcast Sheet”.

Multiple national prizes, original matching numbers engine and a rare and comprehensive option array combine for one of the most elegant and powerful cars ever to earn the SS designation.

With lean, linear styling that borrowed extensively from the 1954 Mercury XM-800 show car, the 1956 Lincoln Premiere combined futuristic looks with spacious accommodations and plenty of power in its 368/285 HP Y-block V-8. Lincoln promoted the all-new Premiere as “the longest, lowest, most powerful, most wanted Lincoln of all time”, as this Concours-quality restored convertible demonstrates. Its bright Amethyst and White color combination is echoed in the interior, which features the period’s popular pleated upholstery. The dashboard features chief designer Tom Hibbard’s elegant “rolled-top” design, with a horizontal speedometer and instrument layout. Power windows and four-way power front seat were standard.

Low production numbers insured the Lincoln Premiere’s exclusivity; only 2,447 built; this is certainly one of the finest in existence.

1964 Mercury Super Maurader Coupe

One of the last of the big performance Mercurys, the 1964 Super Marauder Coupe was the race version of the marauder line. While most were powered by Ford’s smooth 390 V-8, the Super Marauder packed the overwhelming wallop of a full-race R-code NASCAR-spec 427/425 HP with inline dual quad carburetion. This was Mercury at its best in 1964, with competition wins in NASCAR and in the stock car class at the grueling Pike’s Peak Hillclimb. Out of total production of 108,673 units, a total of only 42 R-codes were produced; only 9 were 2-door Park Lane Fastback models, and today only 3 are known to exist. This is the only one finished in Ocean Turquoise with a White interior. After a complete frame-off restoration that took 3 years to complete, the car is in sensational condition, a premier candidate for the most demanding collector.

Thanks in part to the growing popularity of the convertible, Beetle sales crested above 200,000 for the first time. Formerly owned by a Sony executive, this excellent 1963 convertible runs with an upgraded 1600CC engine and is tastefully finished in Light Green with a Black soft top and Brown vinyl interior.

Originally purchased by Cinema Vehicle Services over 20 years ago, this Red-on-Red 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop has been an enduring favorite and one of the most popular of Cinema Vehicles’ 1950s cars. It is unmolested and in very good unrestored condition, and is equipped with a 283 V-8 and automatic transmission. With Spinner hubcaps, wide Whitewalls and all the right trimmings, this is an excellent car for the Chevy lover in search of a solid driving vintage ‘57 Bel Air.

Movie buffs familiar with the 2008 hit movie Iron Man will recall the scene in which industrialist Tony Stark, portrayed by Robert Downey, Jr., first attempts to fly, with unfortunate consequences for his 427 Cobra, which is destroyed when Stark crashes through the roof of his garage full of collector cars. Two mockups using high quality Kirkham aluminum body shells were built for the filming of that scene, in case it had to be shot a second time. One mockup was damaged as planned in the first take, and one survived unused and unscathed. The mockup offered here is the backup car, which

Ford combined style, presence and performance in creating the 1955 Thunderbird, an all-time American classic. CVS purchased this alluring 1955 Thunderbird in 1988 from actress Caryn Johnson, whose signature appears on the car’s title. Ms. Johnson, who had made her film debut three years earlier, is better known today as Whoopi Goldberg. While her love affair with the car ended after experiencing brake issues, it has been virtually unchanged during its more than 20 years service with CVS, still sporting its attractive Red finish, Red and White cockpit and Continental kit.

1971 Ford Ranger XLT Pickup

Ford responded to increasing demand for comfort and luxury in its truck line with the introduction of Ranger XLT trim in its line of F-Series pickups. XLT trimmings included woodgrain tailgate appliqué, full-length lower bright trim moldings, cloth-and-vinyl upholstery, carpeting, and other convenience items. This Red on Black Ranger XLT, a favorite driver of CVS owner Ray Claridge, comes with all those touches and more, including a 390 CI 2V engine, automatic transmission, AM/FM radio, power steering and brakes, air conditioning and upgraded front disc brakes. Well maintained and very clean, this 1971 XLT is a good looker and a great all-around driver.

This is the Kirkham-bodied mockup destroyed by the Iron Man character in the 2008 hit movie of the same name. One of two built for the movie, the car was damaged when the hero, portrayed by Robert Downey, Jr., crashed through the roof of his garage full of collector cars at the end of his first attempt at flying. Two cars using high quality Kirkham aluminum body shells were built for the filming of that scene, the second being a reserve in case it had to be shot a second time. This is the mockup used in the filming of that scene, which was witnessed by millions of moviegoers. This famous movie memento will be sold on a bill of sale.

For fans of the hit television series “My Name Is Earl” there is no mistaking this 1973 Chevrolet El Camino for just any run-of-the-mill piece of road-kill. The car played a ubiquitous role in the series chronicling Earl Hickey’s ongoing efforts to reverse a life of bad karma through good deeds. Like any good American hero, Earl needed a horse, even if metaphorical, and this patched-up pickup with the mismatched door helped see its owner through many of his well-intentioned adventures. Gaily finished in Red with a borrowed Blue driver’s door and primered hood, Earl’s El Camino is a genuine 454 automatic/air vehicle that has always been kept in peak running order, a TV star car that will generate smiles of recognition wherever it goes.

Since 1976 Cinema Vehicle Services has been the major supplier of on-camera vehicles for both motion pictures and television. One of the original vehicles in the CVS collection, and one of its most versatile actors, is this charming 1949 Ford Pickup. Purchased from a studio department head in late 1984, it has been seen in dozens of movie and television series. Of special note is its recent role as the subject of a Ford commercial introducing their new F-150 series of trucks, in which a young man restores his father’s old pickup and returns it to him as a gift.

Driven by Ford’s legendary 239/100 HP flathead V-8 with a 3-Speed transmission, this delightful relic of days gone by has been a CVS favorite, proving its lasting appeal over many years.

The car offered here is the Attack version, which was conceived by famed car designer Harold Belker and built by Cinema Vehicle Services. One of two built for the Attack role, it incorporates the full gamut of custom features, including the requisite “heart beat hood” lighting, spun aluminum high-speed wheels, special aero bodywork and spoilers, a wild hood treatment and an adjustable rear wing. This wild TV car is one of only two built, the other serving as an attraction at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California.

While two of the four cars were subjected to a variety of abuses, this is one of the two built as so-called “Beauty Cars” for scenes depicting it before the characters veered off into the movie’s many misadventures.

Mercury was the only manufacturer to produce hardtop two and four-door station wagons in the late Fifties, a styling feature that gave the car an elegance lacking in the competition. This 1957 Mercury Voyager two-door hardtop wagon is finished in Moonlight Yellow and Classic White with Beige and Brown interior. This well-optioned classic features Mercury’s big Holley 4-barrel-equipped 368/290 HP engine and Merc-O-Matic transmission. It is completely original and unrestored, and in astounding as-new condition.

Virgil Exner’s design skills were at their height when he penned the 1957 Dodge, a fact well illustrated in this timelessly handsome and very rare four-door Sierra station wagon. This Glacier White and Gallant Gold Sierra takes full advantage of its dimensions with an optional rearward-facing passenger seat that increases capacity to nine occupants.

As befits Dodge’s most well-appointed wagon, power comes from a 325/245 HP 2-barrel V-8 mated to a rare and desirable push-button operated Torqueflite transmission, both of which have zero miles since a complete rebuild. Power steering and (brand new) power brakes compliment the car’s revolutionary torsion bar front suspension, while spinner hubcaps and dual chrome mirrors add to this luxury wagon’s already substantial style.

Thunderbird buyers were treated to a special new option in 1962 with the introduction of the Sports Roadster package featuring a fiberglass tonneau cover that transformed the 4-seat convertible into a two-seater. This is one of the first 100 1962 Ford Thunderbird Sport Roadsters produced, a special order car built in Wixom, Michigan on March 7, 1962 and delivered to Townsend Ford in Townsend, MA on March 19th, 1962. Spoked spinner hub caps add elegance to the Red ‘Bird, which is powered by Ford’s 390 CI V-8 automatic.

This very Thunderbird was the inspiration for a painting by famed automotive artist Harold James Cleworth, a copy of whose 1991 art calendar comes with the car along with the original invoice, owner’s manual and shop manual.

Widely considered the archetypal micro car, the BMW Isetta was conceived by the Italian scooter and refrigerator company of Iso SpA, run by Renzo Rivolta. It was introduced in Turin in 1953 to much controversy but was instantly adopted by BMW, who became the “little Iso’s” main licensee. BMW redesigned the car to accept its 250cc R25 motorcycle engine and commenced production in 1955. Displacement was increased to 298cc the following year, when 22,543 examples left the factory. By 1957 the Isetta was the most popular micro car in the world.

The 1957 Isetta offered here is a California car from a well-known private collection whose owner

passed away in 2006. Mechanically sound and cosmetically correct, it packs BMW’s 298cc engine and 4-speed transmission, making it capable of a top speed of 53 mph.

Boss 429 Mustang production figures Kar Kraft build sequence number sticker located on driver’s inside door, reads “KK 429 NASCAR 1509”. A total of 1,359 Boss 429’s were built during calendar year 1969 (Jan-Dec). 859 were 1969’s, 499 were 1970’s. The Boss429 Mustang was a limited production Mustang designed to homologate the Boss 429 engine for NASCAR racing. All were built at the Kar Kraft facility in Brighton, Michigan. Partially completed sports roof Mustangs that originally were to receive the 428 SCJ engine were modified to accept the large 429 engine. The suspension was lowered and moved further outwards one inch, using spindles and control arms unique to the Boss 429.

Other features included Boss 429 fender decals, functional hood scoop and front spoiler that was shallower that the Bos 302 spoiler, color-keyed dual racing mirrors, engine oil cooler, trunk-mounted battery, power steering, power

front disc brakes, close ration four-speed manual transmission, 3.91:1 rear axle with traction-lok, 3/4-inch rear sway bar, the deluxe décor appearance groupe, 8000 RPM tachometer and AM radio.

When Ford introduced its new 428 Cobra Jet engine in April of 1968, Carroll Shelby adopted it to his GT500 and renamed the car the GT500KR for “King of the Road”. Rated at only 335 horses, in actuality the Cobra Jet produced 410 horsepower at 5400rpm and 440 lb-ft of torque at 3400rpm. Changes to the “police pursuit” 428 included revised heads with larger intake and exhaust valves, the competition 427 intake manifold, 735-cfm Holley R-4174 four-barrel carburetor, an oilpan windage tray and a functional Ram-Air induction system.

One of only 993 GT500KRs built and among the most desirable musclecars in the world, this 1968 Shelby GT500KR has been beautifully restored in its original color scheme of Wimbledon White and Guardsman Blue stripes. Built on June 6, 1968, it is well-optioned with the GT Equipment Group that was part of the GT500 package, power disc brakes, power steering, tilt column and the deluxe Décor interior.

The 1954 Ford Crestliner was pivotal in the Ford Motor Company’s transition from post war holdovers to more modern cars incorporating the latest technical and styling advances. The most notable mechanical advance was the new 239 CI “Y” Block V-8, a short-stroke overhead-valve engine that developed 130 horsepower, 20 more than the flathead that had built the company’s fortunes. Adapting Lincoln’s ball-joint front suspension and stretching the wheelbase improved the ride.

With its tinted glass roof panel, this Cameo Coral Crestliner is thoroughly optioned with an automatic transmission, power steering, brakes, seat and windows, pushbutton radio, fender skirts and very rare Novi air conditioning.
