MESSAGE from the CINCINNATI CHAPTER PRESIDENT
Greetings Fellow Compatriots,
The month of September was favored with much Chapter activity, Honor Flight Return Posting of Colors,
Naturalization Ceremonies, Patriot Fair in Mason, OH, where the Chapter presented the Flag program at 10AM &
2:45PM plus explanations of Revolutionary War history throughout the day. The initiative for more members to get
involved in the color guard has already seen some success with two compatriots seeking to secure uniforms. If you
have an interest, please contact compatriot Paul Wilke [[email protected]] who will help you in this endeavor.
The Constitution Day Luncheon was lightly attended, but those who came were pleased with the “Serving Those
Who Served” discussion about how we find and honor our patriot ancestors. Paul Wilke was awarded the first Patriot
Grave Medal, followed by Jack Bredenfoerder and Mike Gunn. Three new members were installed totaling 12 for the
month. Thanks again to all compatriots who have worked hard to keep our chapter interesting and rewarding.
Fraternally and Patriotically,
Michael B. Gunn
