Cii. Dynamic Modular Power and Voice/Data Systems for Today’s Dynamic Workplace.Throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, Communications Integrators’ modular wiring systems are recognized for superior quality and performance. Featuring the most comprehensive product line, Cii provides systems to meet any specification requirement.
Since 1988, Cii has been the pioneer in design and manufacturing of modular power, voice and data systems. Over 200 million square feet of Cii product has been installed in commercial office space, computer rooms, government buildings, labs and education facilities throughout North America.
Ci i e lectr ical systems assure qual i ty, flexibility, sustainability and value, which significantly contribute to the building’s flexible design and value. All components have been meticulously designed, developed
and tested to ensure that overall performance exceeds the most stringent standards. All products are manufactured and tested to exceed UL and TIA/EIA standards of performance.
Customer satisfaction and quick response are paramount. Cii’s network of authorized dealers and installers ensures that your service needs are expediently and accurately addressed. Our experience is vast and we ensure that our systems will adhere to all local and regional codes and requirements.
FLExIBILITY
EASY INSTALLATION AND
RECONFIGURATION
Traditional distribution systems are di ff icul t and t ime-consuming to instal l and reconf igure due to compl icated, preexisting infrastructures. In contrast, our plug-and-play modular system provides a flexible infrastructure that can power every type of system – whenever and wherever you need it.
In new construction our system installs much quicker than traditional pipe and wire systems. Expensive on-site labor costs are significantly reduced; cable tray can be eliminated and material logistics are simplif ied, ultimately saving 35-50 percent of installation costs associated with traditional systems.
Reconf igurat ion is fast , cost-effect ive and easy because each modular unit that makes up the entire power and telecom system simply unplugs. It can then be moved from workstation to workstation, added to new furniture or integrated into newly renovated space.
MAKE YOUR OFFICE ADAPTABLE TO
ANY CONFIGURATION
It’s more challenging than ever to create, maintain and reconfigure work environments – especially with constantly changing power, voice and data requirements. Since Cii’s system is modular, you can change your office configuration at any point in time seamlessly and efficiently.
With our line of StationLink™ products, PowerMate™ Cables and PVD Servicenter™ units:
• Your office can easily adapt to any reconfiguration or expansion – with no
interruption in productivity.
• You can reconfigure any space with nodisruption in critical power, voice and data services – our system is approved by UL to be disconnected and reconnected under load.
• Youdon’tneedcostlylicensedelectriciansand contractors. On-site facilities personnel can easily install or reconfigure the system.
Cost Savings: Real Savings

CUSTOMIZATION
ONE RESOURCE FOR ALL YOUR POWER, TELECOM AND DATA NEEDS
As the only resource you need for all your power, voice and data supply solutions, each of our products is custom engineered to meet your specific building or workplace requirements. Each stage provides expert customization:
• Our engineering staff will work with your design team to ensure your system meets all specifications as defined by you and your electrical engineer while adhering to UL and local building specifications and codes.
• Once your system layout is designed andapproved, our engineers will create custom installation drawings and wiring diagrams, clearlyillustratingyoursystem’scapabilities.
• During product installation, our teamworks to train the installers to meet project specifications.
•At every step along the way, your salesrepresentative will be there to answer any questions and address any issues that may arise.

ENHANCED ROIThe Cii system will save you a significant amount of money in init ial instal lat ion. The reasons for this are many:
• Our factoryratesare lowerthanelectricianfieldrates, and we pass that savings on to you.
• The entire system can be installed in a fraction of the time required for a traditional electrical system–typically40-60percentfaster.
• And,with the exception of landing the homerun cablesinthepanel,there’snoneedforhigh-costlicensed electricians to install the system.
With Cii, there’s never a need to reinvest in a new power system. Increased life cycle helps reduce operating costs by:
• Saving your business the expense of constantly updating to new systems.
•Allowingyoutoworkwithoraddtotheexisting Cii configurations.
•Saving you the added expense of bringing in outside personnel when you want to reconfigure your existing space.

The Ci i system is manufactured and assembled in our U.S. plant. So you can be assured that your system will function perfectly for years to come:

CAPACITY
POWER FOR TODAY, GROWTH FOR
TOMORROW
Our high-capacity wiring configurations provide the ultimate in power solutions. Our systems are designed with the infrastructure in place to deliver the maximum power possible whenever you need it.
• Our standard system has up to 10 wires, featuring a first-make/last-break grounding feature. Most other power solutions on the market have only a maximum of eight wires.
Because modular power products can be considered FF&E for tax purposes, the components can be depreciated using the Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery System (MACRS) over seven years versus 39.5 years for traditional systems. Higher depreciation means lower federal tax, which leads to higher cash flow and increased return on investment.
Independent studies have shown that when using a modular system, reconfiguration costs can be reduced by 75-80 percent in comparison to traditional electrical systems. AccordingtoBOMA,40percentofalloffice space changes annually. As a result, the Cii system creates significant savings and ROI.
