Ci-DMS
The Ci-DMS SAP Gateway module provides proven configurable datatransfer mechanisms for secure data exchange between Ci-DMS andyour SAP environment.
Developed to allow easy implementation to suit your SAP configuration.It includes options for use with SAP IDocs or web services.
If required the transactions can be routed through your preferred dataexchange middleware such as SAP PI or IBM WebSphere using web services, XML or other file formats.
All transactions are logged with automated error handling for both data and connection.
Features
Uses standard SAP IDocs/BAPI’s (customised where necessary).
Transactions are triggered on customisable events.(e.g. Create, Change, Delete, release, user status).
Ci-DMS seamlessly integrates with SAP Warehouse Management toupdate available stock in the dispensing area, supporting all production supply strategies.
Consumption for orders, scrap and stock adjustments areautomatically posted in SAP Inventory Management using the actualdata gathered by Ci-DMS.
SAP production/process orders are also updated in Ci-DMS in real time. Batch determination can either be reserved (hard), recommended (soft) orassigned during the dispensing process.
Supports SAP Handling Unit (HU) Management as well asWarehouse Management Storage Units (SU’s).
Ci-DMS can be configured to read SAP SU bar codes when identifying stock.
Incorporates support for error/connection handling.
