Please remember in your prayers all whose who are suffering and in need of healing. May God bring peace and healing of mind and body to all those in need of His mercy. Also, remember in your prayers all those who have died and their grieving families. May God grant them the fullness of live and love in Heaven. September 15 is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows….a remembrance of Mary and the 7 Sorrows she endured. To whom shall I turn in my needs and miseries, if not to you, Mother of Mercy? You drank so deeply of the chalice of your Son that you can sympathize with the sufferings of those who are still in this valley of tears. Offer to our Divine Savior the sufferings He bore on the Cross that the memory of them may draw His mercy upon me, a sinner. Refuge of sinners and hope of all mankind, accept my petition and grant it, if it be according to the Will of God. Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Love, Children & Grandchildren
Let us gather at the Cross of Jesus. Our Savior suffered at the hands of humanity's worst impulses, but He did not lose hope in us or in His heavenly
father. Love overcomes evil. …The need to place ever greater
value on the life and dignity of all persons, regardless of their station in life, calls us to a
moment of national reflection.
Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz

Liturgy of the Word for Children
Resumes September 18th at the 10:00 Mass
Liturgy of the Word for Children is for kindergarteners through 4th graders. The children are led out of Mass prior to the First Reading and return before the Offertory Procession.
While they are in the Children’s Chapel, they celebrate all of the parts of the liturgy that we adults are celebrating in the main assembly. These include First and Second Readings,
Psalm Response, Prayers of the Faithfull and the Creed. The only difference is the language is adapted to be understood by young children.
Please note this is Liturgy, this is the Celebration of the Mass, it is not a religious education program.
The Church encourages Liturgy of the Word for Children so that our young people can get
to know Christ through his word and through the Mass parts in words that are not over
their heads therefore boring or confusing. Please encourage your children to be part of
this experience.

interested persons are welcome to participate in these free sessions. Karen Sweeney-
Ryall, a Heartland Hospice Bereavement Coordinator with over 17 years of experience in
social service, will lead this group. Grief is a normal and essential part of dealing with
loss. This support series is designed to help participants better understand their grief
experience, while providing practical ways of dealing with the adjustments caused by the
loss. If you or someone you love is stuck in the grieving process, this group can offer
support by offering methods to navigate through this difficult time. If you would like to
participate in this bereavement support series or would like more information, please
