We are a tithing parish. The Parish is totally dependent on the generosi-
ty of the people for the support of the current operations. Envelopes may
be obtained at the Rectory.

BAPTISMS / BAUTISMOS
Baptisms are held the third Saturday of the month in English at 12:00
P.M. and in Spanish at 1:00 PM. Please call or pass by the rectory to
make the arrangements.

The search begins for the Longest Married Couple in the
Archdiocese of New York!
To enter: Couples must be sacramentally married for a minimum
of 65 years and reside in the Archdiocese of New York. Winners
are determined by how long the couple has been married as of

ADVENT MESSAGE
Trees, cards, gifts are not enough ...
The inventions of advertising are not enough, nor the
carols. Santa Claus is not enough.
THERE IS NO CHRISTMAS WITHOUT JESUS.
DO NOT LET THEM KILL YOUR CHRISTMAS.
More than "raging" because you do not have the money
to buy "superfluous" things, worry about helping one
of the thousands of brothers who do not have what it
takes. To exchange “Christmas gifts” is fine, but do
not forget to be generous with the poor with whom
Christ identified himself.
It is very nice to have a "special" dinner on Christmas
Eve, but also discover the need to share food, time, and
affections with those who have nothing.
THERE IS NO CHRISTMAS WITHOUT JESUS.
CHRISTMAS is the name of a miracle that can be
repeated. It depends on your desire to have a
"different" Christmas full of love.
ADVENT is the special time the church offers you to
prepare a Christmas with Jesus.
OPEN YOUR HEARTS AT CHRISTMAS
The 7th grade girls asked to prepare Christmas Gift bags for the
90 residents at Tarry Hall Senior Residence. The girls plan to fill
the bags on Wednesday, Dec. 19th. On Saturday, Dec. 22nd they
will visit the residents and distribute the gift bags. We are asking
for donations of the following items for the bags: Face cloths,
small tubes of hand cream or lotion, lip balm, bracelets or
jewelry (for women), adult winter socks (for men or women),
cologne, small deodorant, candies or cookies, small trinkets or
Ornaments,. We do not have much time. Any help you can
offer will be greatly appreciated. There is a box in the Church
marked DONATIONS for TARRY HALL. We know you will be
very happy knowing our young people want to bring some joy to
others.

NO HAY NAVIDAD SIN JESÚS.

Más que “rabiar” por que no te alcanza el dinero para
comprar cosas “superfluas”, preocupate en ayudar a
alguno de los miles de hermanos que no tienen lo
necesario.
Si quieres hacer “regalitos de Navidad”...hazlos, pero
no te olvides de ser generoso con los pobres con
quienes Cristo se identificó.
Está muy bien tener en Nochebuena una cena
“especial”, pero descubre también la necesidad de
compartir comida, tiempo, afectos con quienes no lo
tienen.
NO HAY NAVIDAD SIN JESÚS.
NAVIDAD es el nombre de un milagro que puede
repetirse. Depende de tu ilusión, de tus ganas de
tener una Navidad “distinta” llena de amor.
ADVIENTO es el tiempo especial que la iglesia te
ofrece para preparar una Navidad con Jesús.
NO DEJES QUE MATEN TU NAVIDAD
EN ESTA NAVIDAD ABRAN SUS CORAZONES Las niñas de séptimo grado están preparando bolsas de
Navidad para los 90 residentes del asilo de ancianos Tarry
Hall. Las chicas planean llenar las bolsas el miércoles 19 de
diciembre y el sábado 22 de diciembre visitarán a los
residentes y distribuirán las bolsas de regalo. Estamos
solicitando donaciones de los siguientes artículos para las
bolsas: barras de jabón, paños faciales, pequeños tubos de
crema de manos, bálsamos para los labios, pulseras (para
mujeres), calcetines blancos (para hombres), desodorantes
pequeños, caramelos sin azúcar o Galletas, pequeños
adornos navideños ,. No tenemos mucho tiempo. Cualquier
ayuda que pueda ofrecer será muy apreciada. Hay una caja en
la Iglesia marcada DONACIONES para TARRY HALL.
Sabemos que usted estará muy feliz de saber que nuestros
jóvenes quieren llevar algo de alegría a los demás.
EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA / FORMACIÓN DE FE Nuestro programa de educación religiosa necesita más
catequistas. Si puede comprometerse, con el don de su
tiempo, a enseñar y compartir nuestra Fe, comuníquese con
