Chung Fung Studio (Fotan)
Chung Fung Studio, located in Fotan Hong Kong, is an artist studio owned by Chan Siu
Min since 2004. The studio features the works of a four-member family. Chan Siu Min
regularly participates in the annual Fotan Open Studio. He received recognition and
media coverage for his passion on art. His works often reflect the life of hardworking
Hongkongers.

Born: Hong Kong
Chan Siu Min was born in Hong Kong in 1943. He is the founder of Chung Fung Studio
and the Hong Kong Monday Visual Arts Association. His paintings often feature the
progress of Hong Kong, especially the construction sites of Hong Kong and the
hardworking Hongkongers. His works are widely exhibited and collected.

Born: Hong Kong
From a young age Chu Lai Ming studied under various artists to learn Chinese
calligraphy, Chinese and Western painting. She studied Chinese and Western Art
History in Guangzhou Art Institute in 1993 and received a diploma on Theories of
Chinese Calligraphy from the City University of Hong Kong in 2001. She participated
in many group exhibitions in both Hong Kong and Canada.

Chan Kai-Bong was born in Hong Kong in 1981. Chan Kai-Bong is a painter and an art
teacher, favoring oil color and oil pastel. His paintings are characterized by the poetic
feelings of childhood innocence. His still life and landscape paintings are sprinkled
with prismatic colors, colors that can be evoked only through patient and prolonged
observation, as well as childlike imagination.

Born: Hong Kong
Lo Kit Ying, Joyce is a Hong Kong based mixed-media artist primarily concerned with
the relations from the body to spiritual life; human thoughts and our local culture.
Her works were exhibited in the Gallery of Hong Kong Art School. Lo's work has also
been exhibited in Hong Kong Art Center, Sundaram Tagore Gallery, Unit Gallery, and
in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
