Writing an Abstract (question 6 of the online registration form)

Helpful Tips for Writing Your Abstract

1. Begin by developing a goal for your presentation. For example, “By the end of this presentation, students will be able to…”

2. Summarize the main points of your presentation in your abstract. 3. Make your abstract interesting! Your abstract is what gets students to sign up to see your presentation! 4. Share the abstract with someone to get feedback. Did the abstract get them interested in your presentation? Be

sure to edit your work! 5. The title of your abstract should be the same as the title of your presentation. Make it catchy!

Some examples:

BIM Title: Internship at America's Remote Help Desk My presentation will be on America’s Remote Help Desk (ARHD).
