GOSPEL: Luke 1:39-45 Leap For Joy
Mary set outand traveled to
the hill country in haste
to a town of Judah, where she entered
the house of Zechariah
and greeted Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s
greeting,the infant leaped
in her womb,
and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy
Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said,
“Most blessed are you among
women, and blessed is the
fruit of your womb.
And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached
my ears,
the infant in my womb leaped for
joy.Blessed are you who believed
that what was spoken to you by
the Lordwould be fulfilled.”
The Gospel of the Lord!
All – PRAISE TO YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST !

Day 6: Christmas Novena
The Priest, called to be the bearers of Good News among God’s people.
God our loving father, the heart of Elizabeth was gladdened with a visit
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
from the mother of the Savior, and the child in her womb leaped for joy.
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
Mary is the bringer of good news not only to Elizabeth, but to the whole
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
world as well. As we celebrate the year of the priests, we pray for our priests.
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
May their lives become a testimony of the good news of salvation.
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
Through the holiness of their ministry, grant that they may bring glad tidings to
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
the poor, release for those imprisoned by sin and useless anxieties, and proclaim the Lord’s favor to
CHRISTMAS NOVENA DAY 6
everyone they encounter. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
