lsquoLUNArsquo OUR THERAPY DOG

Kennel Club Accredited Instructor come into school to
share her expertise with Learning Support Staff pupils and our beautiful therapy dog
Luna Pupils were taught command words how to train a dog to drop walk to heel and
not to jump up
Luna has had a very busy term Her training is really helping
her to progress
Luna has enjoyed taking part in reading interventions and is enjoying Wolf Brother by
Michelle Paver amongst others She has been
on walks to the local park where algebra has been the focus She has also been on
some excursions to the shops helping pupils with valuable life skills such as road skills
and handling money
