M o s t Productive Year 2017 held many firsts. In 2017 Water for Christ (W4C) drilled its first well in the USA for We Are FREE, a facility to house women rescued from human trafficking. We met with the Vice president of Ghana, Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia, which was our first diplomatic meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to establish political awareness of Water for Christ’s presence in Ghana, with the aim of easing our relations with customs which has proven to be long and costly. In addition to the many wells that we drill every year, this was our first year to release the Ghanaian local drill team (a team that Water for Christ has been training for several years) without a USA representative. However, Water for Christ provided oversight. This greatly aids the mission of W4C, as wells can continue to be drilled even if an American team is not there. This saves money for W4C and provides wages for local Ghanaians.

We also saw a record high of souls witnessed to this year. W4C saw many baptisms take place this year that were a direct result of the impact of the water wells. As we wrap up one year, and move to the next, we want to pause and thank God for all his provisions and thank you for all you have done as donors, investors and supporters of W4C. With your prayers and donations, you helped make all that has happened this year possible.

Note From W4C Director Thanks to you and God’s provision, Water for Christ has been very successful in 2017. We measure success by sharing the Gospel. Often for us, the first step to opening that door is talking to the village chief about a water well. The chief of each village is the gateway into sharing the Good News of Jesus. Our invitation into villages provides opportunities to share the Gospel at schools, which is a good platform to announce our special event in the evening - a movie. Very few have seen a movie, much less understand what the word means. Curiosity brings them to the gathering place that evening where they watch the graphic telling of Christ’s death and resurrection through the movie “The Passion of Christ”. Then, the gospel is shared and souls are won to Heaven.

More wells drilled means more schools visited, which means more souls reached for Christ. Your kind and committed support enables all these wells. You share a part in each of these wells drilled and each life forever changed by the sharing of the Living Water and physical water.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus.
