Christmas traditions have been handed down over gen-erations. DAY 4 – Historic Jamestown and YorktownToday, visit Historic Jamestown, the site of the first permanent Eng-lish settlement in North America. Here, you will see the ruins of

the original 1607 James Fort and the restored Jamestown Church.At Jamestown Settlement hear the story of these 17th century Vir-ginia colonists. In Yorktown, visit the American Revolution Mu-seum which tells the story of the nation’s founding from thecolonial period to the dawn of the Constitution. At Yorktown Bat-tlefield learn how George Washington’s forces besieged the Britisharmy thus ending the Revolutionary War and ensuring independ-ence.
