What Do We
Owe to God?
God created us
to be with Him;
thus, we owe Him ourselves. Yes, we have
the Commandments, the Beatitudes and the
teachings of our Church. Yet we know
there is no one who can keep these laws
perfectly. So, what is it that we MUST do
to please God? What does Jesus mean,
when he says, “Give to God what is
God’s?” Psalm 96 says: Sing a new song
unto the Lord; tell his glory among the
nations, among all peoples, his wondrous
deeds; for great is the Lord and highly to be
praised. Give to the Lord, you families of
nations; Give to the Lord glory and praise
due his name! Bring gifts, and enter into
his courts! Worship the Lord, in holy
attire; tremble before him; say among the
nations, The Lord is King!”

Fr. Madden welcomed Bishop
Stephen Parkes, D.D. to Christ the
King on Wednesday, October 14th
!
The visit was short and sweet and we hope
he will return to our Parish on the Feast of
Christ the King when he will be able to
spend time with the whole congregation!

Cemetery after Sunday’s
Mass, and pray for all the
souls of the faithfully departed! Please
schedule time after Mass for this yearly
CTK tradition!!

Our Outreach Ministry is in need of items
for the Pantry. While you are out shopping
for your family, if you are able to add to
your list, we are in need of the following:

Pork and Beans

Our parishioners

our pantry and our monetary needs and we
thank you in advance for your continued
support and generosity! Our Outreach
Ministry is funded solely on the support
from our parishioners and our Pastor.
