CURRENTLY WORKING ONABOUT ME
My name is Chris Freeman. I am aProfessional Writing Major at MichiganState University with a deeply rootedpassion for music, journalism, socialmedia, alternative culture, and blogging.I grew up in Michigan's upperpeninsula–hours away from anynotable cities–but have made it a pointto experience as much of the world as Ican.
Whenever possible, I am on the road with my band, HotMulligan. I have performed in 12 different states and havebooked over 50 shows in the past year. I would like to tourthrough my twenties. However, I aspire to build a lifelongcareer in music as someone with hands-on experience invarious pursuits. So, when the tour is over, I am only juststarting the next leg. When I am not on the road, I find waysto remain active in the music industry. As a staff writer formusic blog, 36 Vultures, and publicist/co-founder of EmptyHead PR, I do my best to stay on top of the beat within thealternative, punk, and indie-rock communities.
