Quality products begin with quality ingredients, manufactured by quality production processes, verified by quality testing laboratories. The NASC Preferred Supplier program has been developed to help ensure all of these critical steps are covered by suppliers we trust in every area. At NASC, we focus on the entire supply chain, start to finish.

• Raw Material (Ingredient / Component) Suppliers Our program helps ensure all suppliers of raw materials and other components meet comprehensive standards for testing and other critical specifications.

• Contract Manufacturers We require independent verification that all production processes follow current Good Manufacturing Practice Standards (cGMPs) to help ensure consistent high quality products.

• Testing Laboratories We verify that the tests and methodologies used to certify raw materials and finished products, are the most reliable and current in the industry.

• Quality Service Providers We also partner with service providers including product liability insurance, packaging, legal services, credit card processing and other great companies.

A company cannot just join the NASC Preferred Supplier Program; they must qualify!

Members of the National Animal Supplement Council are concerned and committed providers of animal health supplements across the globe. Together we strive to improve the quality of products consumers depend on every day for their horses, dogs, cats and other companion animals.

All Primary Suppliers are required to undergo a rigorous independent audit of their facilities. Only audited members are able to display the NASC Quality Seal. Displaying the seal shows consumers the company is committed to the highest standards of quality in the industry.
