Long-standing relationship in North America expands abroad

NEW YORK June 14, 2010 - Choice Logistics, the global specialist in customized third-partymission-critical service parts logistics, has been selected by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS)EMEA, a provider of storage infrastructure solutions, for mission-critical service parts logisticsmanagement. Choice will also facilitate import and export compliance on behalf of the

company. Choice has served as the service parts logistics partner for Hitachi Data Systems inNorth America and other regions of the world since 2001.

While Choice has worked with Hitachi Data Systems North America for nearly a decade, thecompany replaced a major international logistics provider to secure the entire EMEA account.The implementation process was initiated during the busy holiday season in late 2009,culminating in early 2010. Despite this timing challenge, Choice transitioned inventory andintegrated HDS EMEA into its distribution network over the course of just 10 weeks. Thisincluded several markets that were added after the initial launch. To ensure a seamlessconversion, Choice also managed the transfer of complex import and export documentationfrom the previous provider, and assumed responsibility for service parts customs compliance.
