Guangzhou Container Terminal (GCT) offers fully integrated container terminal operations at its four container berths at Guangzhou Huangpu hinterland. It is located in the centre of the high growth Pearl River Delta region.This enables the terminal to better serve the production and manufacturing sector from both Guangzhou and southern China.
GCT officially commenced operations on 1 July 2001. The Terminal has a well-developed infrastructure network for cargo transportation, collection and distribution. Together with Guangzhou-PSA Logistic Depot (GPL), GCT is able to serve as a 3PL logistic provider. In addition, it is connected to a network of highways and rivers and complemented by more than 50 kilometres of dedicated rail links. Cargo from Chongqing, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi and Sichuan are transhipped from GCT to the rest of the world.
