chilmington green primary school newsletter 5 …...of course, your child’s and the staff’s...
TRANSCRIPT
Dear Pupils, Parents & Carers,
I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the return of the sunshine. Many of you
celebrated the 75th anniversary of VE day last week and I am sure, whatever you did, it was
a memorable family day in your homes and gardens.
This made all the staff think about the past and what we all looked like when we were
younger. Have a look below and see if you can guess who is who?
I am sure, like me, you listened to Sunday’s announcement from the Prime Minister regarding
the re-opening of schools. We will be sending out a letter on Monday explaining the measures
we will have in place for the phased reopening. Of course, your child’s and the staff’s safety
is paramount to us at this time, and we will be following Government guidance to ensure this.
Stay safe everyone and keep making a difference; staying in really is saving lives!
Mrs Flack
Thank you for continuing to send in your home learning pictures; we love looking at them and
emailing replies back to the children. We are so pleased, from speaking to parents, to hear
how our children are adapting to this new normal. We can’t wait to see everyone again though
and we know we are one day closer to that with each day that passes.
Visit our Facebook page for a special message from everyone at
Chilmington Green Primary School. We miss you so much and we look forward to seeing you all
very soon!

Hi
Hi Everyone Janitor John here letting you all
know that Chilmington Green School is being
looked after even though most of you, during
this difficult lockdown time, can’t come in for
lessons.
I check on the school every day trying to
make sure that things are working and the
school stays safe. I must admit it’s lonely and
I for one cannot wait for the classrooms to be
full again and to see children enjoying the
playground. In the meantime, I am missing you
all SO MUCH but soon we will all be together
again. In the meantime, don’t forget, wash
your hands and STAY SAFE.
