Wednesday, February 19 9:00am-4:30pm Registration begins Monday, Feb. 3, at 10am, for West Islip School District residents only. Out-of-district residents may register start-ing Thursday, Feb. 6 if seats are available. Limit: 30 per class.

Numbers will be given out starting at 9am to those residents who come in to wait for registration. Your place will not be held if you are not here when registration begins at 10am.

Children’s Services Programs

Registration for all JANUARY & FEBRUARY PROGRAMS begins on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8th.All programs require Advance Registration. Numbered registration forms will be given out beginning at 9:30am. In-person registration begins at 9:45am. Staff members will assist you in registering your children. You may not register your friends or neighbors. You do not need to stay-simply indicate your requests on the registration form and hand in to library staff. Telephone registration begins at 10:30am and continues through Friday, January 10. Please have your request ready before you call. All registration forms will be processed in the order they are received. You will be notified if you are on any waiting lists by Saturday, January 11.

☺ Please adhere to age/grade restrictions as indicated. Select programs suitable for your child. Call us at least one hour before a program begins if your child is registered for a program but cannot attend, so that we may call those on a waiting list.

Baby, Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten Programs

Twist and Shout Story Time Ages 24-41 months Tuesdays 10:30-11:15am & 11:30am-12:15pm Join us weekly for a pre-school story time filled with funky songs, participatory sto-ries, fingerplays and more! Parents/Care-givers accompany and participate with the children. No registration required. Please note: There will be no story time on Tuesday, February 18.

All-by-Myself Story Time Ages 3½ yrs.-Pre-K Thursdays 11:30am-Noon & 1:30-2pm ABCs, 1,2,3s and more! Join us for a pre-school story time where children practice their school skills and their independence. No registration required. Parent/Caregiver must remain in the Children’s Room during Story Time as your child may need you. Please note: There will be no story times on Thursdays, January 2 or February 20.

His style was innovative and unique. Participants have the opportunity to create their own Tiffany-inspired stained glass piece to display anywhere! This class will use easy techniques that were inspired by Tiffany without the use of glass shards or traditional soldering.
