Children’s Yoga Series with Tanya Tonneson Tanya brings her thirteen-year study of yoga, knowledge of child development and extensive background in holistic health practices to this class to support the child’s full potential for health, harmony and happiness Lotus Baby Balance offers children’s yoga classes that teach children mindfulness, emotional intelligence, balance and coordination. I also encourage children to celebrate their unique creative expression and gifts. I offer classes in different communities including schools (during school hours and after school), yoga centers, and dance studios. Call or email me if you are interested in bringing specialized yoga classes to the children into your community! Classes are designed for 2-6 and 7-10 year olds teach awareness of breath, body, mind and emotions, and teach about our connection to each other and nature. The practice is both fun and educational, benefitting children of all personalities and learning styles. By combining connecting activities, yoga postures, brain games, and breath work children build a toolkit for stress management and inner harmony whilst having fun. Little yogis will develop social skills, strength, flexibility, confidence, and mindfulness of themselves and the world around them. Come play!
