Where are child care services provided?
Child care services are provided to children in certified homes or licensed canters. Providers in certified homes may care for up to six children. These homes are inspected by staff from Pickaway County JFS and certified when all re-quirements are met. Child care centers are li-censed for certain numbers and age groups of children by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and are inspected for compliance with licensing requirements.
Who can get child care benefits?
Families who meet income guidelines can receive payment for all or part of monthly child care ex-penses that are provided by a certified of licensed child care provider. The provider receives pay-ment from the Pickaway County JFS for ap-proved periods of child care.
What needs to be verified?
At the time of application: income, house-hold members and employment or training
information.

♥ Children who are happily involved
♥ A clean, safe environment
♥ Variety of toys and learning materials
