Chief Financial Officer (m/f)

Start date: as soon as possible Employment type: Full-time Location: Nyon, Switzerland or Frankfurt/Wiesbaden Germany

You will be part of the management team (Vorstand) and play a key role in the budgeting, fundraising process as well as investor relations. This role requires a blend of hands on industry segment experience, entrepreneurial passion and boardroom polish.

What you will do:

Support the CEO on all financing topics, in particular investor relations

Be responsible for monthly reporting and definition of KPIs

Advise on strategic business decisions from a financial perspective

Take overall responsibility for the ongoing financial accounting

Develop and execute finance-related investor communications and filings on Frankfurt stock exchange (BaFin

experience required)

Review and oversee operational accounting practices such as payrolls, accounts payable and accounts receivable as

well as accounts reconciliation

Review and approve payment transactions

Help to optimize internal financial processes

Be the contact person and information provider for the tax advisor

Contribute to shaping the company strategy by thinking creatively about financial impacts, risks, experiments, data

Represent the finance perspective in all team decisions that affect the company's future

Requirements:

Previous experience from working for a publicly listed life science company; you are seeking to apply your previously

learned finance skills and tools

Ability to work in an ambiguous and dynamic environment and comfortable with multidisciplinary teams in a non-

hierarchical organization

Ability to see the big-picture, problem-solving attitude and execute into the details

Ability to take individual ownership to support the collective success of the company

Entrepreneurial experience – is of advantage

Fluent in English and German, other languages are a plus
