Directions After visiting the Walled Garden,walk up the quiet lane (about halfway between the Fort and WalledGarden) to Lincoln Hill.
You will arrive at a crossroads,turn right here, this part of the routewill be signed for the Cycle Byway.
After about 1km, cross the mainroad and continue intoHumshaugh.
Admire the magnificent eastwardviews from the War memorial, andwalk through the village.
Leaving the village follow theroad back to Chollerford andChesters Roman Fort.
