The mission of Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation (CLF) schools is, in partnership with students, parents, and the community, to attain educa-tional excellence by providing a rigorous and technology-integrated education for K-12 students with an emphasis on mathematics, science, and information technologies.

VISIONOur vision is to provide multiple opportunities for youth to
prepare for post secondary education in a variety of fields of
study in order to pursue professional careers. We enable all
students to achieve their maximum potential by equipping and
empowering them with analytical thinking and quantitative
reasoning skills.
With this vision in mind, we prepare students to become compe-
tent, responsible and successful individuals in our globalized
and technology-based society through a strong academic
program, a school-family-community partnership, and a strong
teacher-student relationship. We inspire and challenge sixth
through twelfth grade students in a creative and supportive
learning environment with an academic program focusing on
STEM Areas to educate our students as responsible citizens.
CLF provides a unique opportunity for youth to pursue professional careers as well as college education in the high paying and ever growing field of STEM areas. CLF is the group of educators and professionals with highly successful careers in business, science, technologies, and math, as well as college and K-12.

STRONG PRESENCE IN COMPETITIONSAll students are encouraged to participate in local, state, national, and even international academic competitions.
Since first CLF school’s inception in 2005, our students have won over 2,000 awards in these competitions! Below

TEAM INFINITY EXCELS AT STATE MATHCOUNTS!CLF students won 2nd and 3rd places statewide while
competing against the best middle school math students
across all of Maryland. These students represented
Maryland on the four-member state team at the National
MathCounts Competition.
THE AMERICAN MATH CHALLENGECLF students won first place in the national American
Math Challenge among 1,329 competing middle schools
across the nation!
SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM PLACED 2ND AT THE STATE COMPETITIONCLF students earned 8 first places, 7 second places and 3
third places out of 23 events at the state science Olympiad

ROBOTICS TEAM GOT 2ND PLACE AT JOHNS HOPKINSOur robotics team participated in the Johns Hopkins University Robo-Challenge 2013 competition was sponsored
by the Johns Hopkins-based National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Computer-Integrated
Surgical Systems and Technology.
There were 43 teams of high school and middle school students representing 7 counties in Maryland. Our team
won 2nd place win in the Boe-Bot Petite Slalom Challenge and 3rd place in the Mystery Course!
