Performance Bank Gurantee

“The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG)valid for 2 years 9 months in the proforma attached (Annexure 5) from a Nationalized Indian Bank within 28 days from the receipt of Notification of Award (NOA) of the tender for an amount equivalent to 10% of the value of the NOA. The expenses to be incurred for the making Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) shall be borne by the Contractor”

Shall be changed as

“The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG)valid for 2 years 9 months in the proforma attached (Annexure 5) from a Nationalized Indian Bank within 28 days from the receipt of Letter of acceptance (LOA) of the

GCC clause no 9.5 Performance Bank Gurantee

“Performance bank guarantee shall be extended in terms of 3 months on its expiry, if the Contractor fails to obtain the Acceptance certificate from purchaser duly completing the commissioning of system in all respect and completion of DLP as in Annexure-12. Failing to above will entitle the purchaser to encash the performance bank guarantee without any notice”

Shall be read as

“Performance bank guarantee shall be extended in terms of 3 months on its expiry, if the Contractor fails to obtain the Acceptance certificate from purchaser duly completing the commissioning of system in all respect and completion of DLP as in clause no 48.1 & 53.0. Failing to above will entitle the purchaser to encash the performance bank guarantee without any notice”

“the purchaser may without prejudice to his other rights: -(i) Recover from the Contractor as a penalty a sum equivalent to 0.5 % value of total contract value per week subject to maximum of 10%, after which contract will be deemed as cancelled & PBG will be encashed by the purchaser”

On obtaining the statutory clearance tenderer shall apply for acceptance certificate through a formal letter with an attachment listing the status of the comments/punch points given by purchaser representative during his inspection. If all punch points are attended. Purchaser shall issue the completion certificate for pertaining to the substations." Shall be read as

“The switch gear shall contain 2 Current Transformer of required rating. One CT shall be designed to achieve the best protection required for the 33kV shunt reactor (feeder protection) and other to alter the Busbar differential scheme already existing in the system. The protection CTs shall be of 5P15 or 5P20 Class as per requirement with sufficient level of burden.” Shall be read as “The switch gear shall contain Current Transformer of required rating. CT shall be designed to achieve the best protection required for the 33kV shunt reactor (feeder protection).The protection CTs shall be of 5P15 or 5P20 Class as per requirement with sufficient level of burden.”
