KGaA, Weinheim www.cheminform.wiley-vch.de Polyphenyl derivatives Q 0700 Pd-Catalyzed C—C Cross-Coupling Reactions within a Thermoresponsive and pH-Responsive and Chelating Polymeric Hydrogel. — Suzuki and Heck reactions can be performed efficiently within the polymeric hydrogel (N-isopropylacrylam- ide—methacrylic acid ester—methyleneisoacrylamide copolymer). Addition of sur- factant and organic co-solvent is not necessary. It acts as reaction medium, encapsulant for reactants, and support for Pd catalyst.
