38 - 044Palladium Catalyzed Cyclization-Barbier-Type Allylation Cascades.— A Pd(0)-catalyzed termolecular queuing process involving cyclization ofaryl halides (I), (V), (VIII) and (X) onto proximate alkynes, allene insertion,transmetallation with indium and addition to the aldehydes (III) and (VI), re-spectively affords the heterocyclic dienes (IV), (IX) and (XI) and the carboxylicdiene (VII).
