2001 vanadium, V vanadium, V I 5000 31 - 023 NaV 3 (OH) 6 (SO 4 ) 2 : A Kagome-Type Vanadium(III) Compound with Strong Intralayer Ferromagnetic Interactions. Dark red crystals of the title compound are prepared hydrothermally from VCl 4 ,H 2 O, and Na 2 SO 3 (Parr bomb, 202 C, 3 d, 22% yield). As revealed by single crystal XRD the compound crystallizes in the rhombohedral space group R 3m with Z = 3.
