23 - 218Higher Iodinated Analogues of D-Glucose: Syntheses of 3-C-Iodomethyl, 6-C-Iodomethyl and 6-C-Iodophenyl Derivatives. —The title 3-C-iodomethyl (VI), 6-C-iodomethyl (XVIb) and 6-C-iodophenylderivatives (XVIa) of glucose are prepared on different ways via compounds(V), (XV) and (X), resp., starting from protected glucose (II) or glucuronic acidderivatives (VII). In each of the prepared compounds, the basic glucose skeletonwith all hydroxyl groups is present. — (MORIN, CHRISTOPHE; OGIER,LIONEL; Tetrahedron: Asymmetry 11 (2000) 2, 629-638; Lab. Etud.
