The Combined Chemical Dictionary
Spanning the breadth of chemistry, The Combined Chemical Dictionary (CCD) providesaccess to chemical, physical, and structural data on 620,000 compounds. You can searchcontent using the intuitive and powerful MarvinSketch Java Applet and JChem searchengine from ChemAxon™. The Applet, compatible with Mac, PC, and Linux-based sys-tems, allows you to draw your own structure queries. The CCD is updated twice a year.
A structured database, the CCD contains descriptive and numerical data, systematicand common names, and literature references as well as structure diagrams and theirassociated connection tables. With a listing for virtually every known natural product, including those of unknown structure, the CCD provides:
• Fundamental organic and inorganic compounds of simple structure
• Currently marketed drugs as well as those undergoing clinical trials
• Compounds with an established use such as catalysts, solvents, starting materials, synthetic reagents, and analytical reagents
• Co-ordination compounds such as ammines, phosphines, alkoxy complexes, and major well-characterized bioinorganics
• Organometallic compounds representative of important structural types
• Important biochemicals, minerals, and newly synthesized compounds of activeresearch interest
Given the vast range of data available, you will be able to conduct searches in a varietyof ways, using single or multiple parameters, including structure searches.

Dictionary of Organic Compounds
Dictionary of Organic Compounds has built a world wide reputation as an indispensa-ble reference work over its 70 years of publication. This carefully curated databasecontains over 106,000 entries comprising more than 314,000 organic compounds.
Dictionary of Drugs
Presenting more than 14,000 entries with accurate, up-to-date, and concise infor-mation on more than 54,000 compounds, the Dictionary of Drugs is a one-stopresource for the medicinal chemist.
Dictionary of Inorganic and Organometallic Compounds
Two highly respected titles, the Dictionary of Inorganic Compounds and the Dictionaryof Organometallic Compounds, have been brought together into this single, structure-searchable database of over 107,000 compounds.
Dictionary of Commonly Cited Compounds
The Dictionary of Commonly Cited Compounds contains the top 25,000 most com-monly cited compounds in Chemical Abstracts (excluding polymers and biologicals)in a dictionary format.
Dictionary of Food Compounds
The Dictionary of Food Compounds provides wide-ranging information on 69,000compounds found in food, including additives, flavors, natural food constituents, contaminants, and nutraceuticals.
Dictionary of Natural Products
The Dictionary of Natural Products is a comprehensive structure database containingover 265,000 natural products. Continually reviewed to keep pace with the current literature, this database is the most comprehensive source of natural productinformation available.
Dictionary of Marine Natural Products
The Dictionary of Marine Natural Products is a comprehensive resource for more than50,000 known natural products isolated from marine organisms.
The Combined Chemical Dictionary
With scientific and commercial information on almost 1,050 polymers and 15,000 monomers, this database provides a single, first-stop referenceinvaluable to anyone involved in polymer science and technology. Each entry includes trade names, properties, constituent monomers, commercialapplications, manufacturing processes, and references.
Each section of the database, Polymers and Monomers, can be searched inde-pendently. You may use the monomers you have identified to cross-reference topolymer entries, or you may use the extensive property search capabilities onthe polymers data directly. The polymers section of the database can besearched using 92 possible properties combined in any way you choose. Theseare grouped into the following sections:
• Powerful retrieval software• Structure searchable monomers database• Cross-referencing and browsable indexes
• General Description • Volumetric and Calorimetric Properties • Surface Properties and Solubility • Transport Properties • Mechanical Properties • Electrical Properties • Optical Properties • Polymer Stability • Applications and Commercial Products
An easy-to-use tool for identifying unknown compounds, or for locating additional data for a known compound, Properties of Organic Compoundscontains over 29,000 of the most commonly sought organic compounds, featuring physical data and spectral data. With the databases’ high-quality display and powerful search capabilities, you can search in a variety of differentways. These are just a few of the features that make the database a useful andtime-saving resource.
