Fit Assessment Team:Commitment to a first-time fitOur Technical Support staff routinely teams up with an orthotist from our sister company, Cascade Prosthetics & Orthotics, to discuss challenging orders. The goal: address concerns and talk through challenges before the order goes out to the lab and the brace is built. Such proactive efforts raise the likelihood of a successful first-time fit and functional outcome for the patient.

Softy® liner enhancementsWe’ve improved our Softy liner for an even more comfortable bracing solution for patients with boney anatomy and sensitive skin. The Softy now features even softer foam with two variations—a softer, Resting Softy for non-ambulators and a more dense and durable Active Softy for ambulatory patients.

The Resting Softy is standard on our resting orthoses (DAFO 9 and DAFO 8 Softy), and the Active Softy is standard on the rest of our Softy line. But, as always, you are welcome to request either in the Special Instructions area of the order form.

Did you know? DAFO clubfoot optimizationsHighlighted in the latest version of our Optimization Index is a set of custom DAFO optimizations designed for soft, comfortable repositioning of clubfoot or maintaining post-surgical positions.

Education On-DemandOur online courses allow you to study our curriculum any place, anytime. Each course is made up of multiple lessons and is wrapped up with a final test. Designed to take approximately one hour to complete, each lesson includes instructor narration, video demonstration, illustrations, links to additional information, and interactive learning reinforcement.
